Shaft Extension Not roll straight effect on accuracy....

someone abandoned a balance rite joint extension that fit my cue. I loved iy. the spacing (im 6'3), the balance. everything felt great. I hit a bit of a rut in my play where i was getting unusual unintended left on the ball sometimes. very weirdfor me as my bias and miss is always...

    Cue alignment???

ye u have yo get to the point where u are aligned standing and then the feel is of dropping straight down on that line. The mirror is a great aid. one other poster suggested using an ironing board at table height by a mounted mirror which may be easier to pull off than getting one set up just...

    Cue alignment???

I played asession doing BK's method in my psr the other night. no issues for me. I can see alignment concerns if starting square but once turned in a way that orients the cue on the shot line, the head isn't really more than a few inces at best off the cue and the slightest move puts it right...

    Cue alignment???

I take back what i said about it not being meant for a psr. went out and played a session using a hang in my psr. It worked great.

    Cue alignment???

You are confusing 2 different things... a) how seasoned players get down on shots in play b) a method for finding one's natural alignment for the cue relative to their body. Once found and their positioning is determined they can move on to a streamlined way of getting down that way at the...

    Handicapping 9 Ball: "Lowest 4" "Lowest 3"...

I like the idea. My sis is getting better so I may not be able to give her the current spot much longer...she shoots any ball while I play rotation, first to 8 balls.

    Cue alignment???

His point is simply that with thousands upon thousands of reps, top players can almost automatically find their positions and get into their setups with flow. At first tho, making sure of key elements of a setup piece by piece is perfectly fine. Which isn't to say some guys under tournament...

    Cue alignment???

ye...as suspected, u hate it bc u don't umderstamd it. Some people hang really square. they exist. also, if u actually perform BK's method, the two positions are inseperable. start with ur neutral hang, orient the cue so it is on the shot line, then get down in that position in a way that...

    Cue alignment???

Building around the cue is very commonly taught. Especially for beginners, PSRs that put the cue on the shot line and build the stance around it have been very widely recommended. .so ur certainly not alone and not everyone has it as bass ackwards as u may think. BK's method of building the...

    Cue alignment???

Ye what snooker players do is somewhat different and they do have the lower body twist that Bert doesn't like.. It's probably the best way overall imo and can work at many angles. Bert's is up there tho. nitpicking 2nd or 3rd best method imo. I use it as a quick way to fix gaudy alignments...

    Playing 3 person Cut-throat

Ha. Ye I haven't actually heard of that as a game either tho it makes sense. I sometimes play this as a handicap with friends....we break 15 balls and they shoot anything while I play rotation. First to 8 wins.

    Cue alignment???

Bert Kinister's method for finding and building ur stance around your natural hang alignment is one of the best I've come across and may help you out. In this vid he recommends you make 10 in a row one handed using this method but really, u can just build your setup around this alignmwnt that...

Anyone Have Success Using a Wrist Brace?

Fair enough. Just that my guess is polar opposite of yours. Maybe we're equally wrong and on opposite ends of the spectrum. Maybe one of us is absurdly off. I think I know who, but I'm biased lol.

Anyone Have Success Using a Wrist Brace?

That's an odd guess bud. It's not like it is a secret that you get the best look at grips/wrists from behind. Whenever I do a stroke analysis for someone, the view from behind is often most revealing. Surely more than 5% have stumbled onto this lol.

Do you think these pockets were too large?

Ye the facing angles and shelf depths are huge factors. I play in one room that has rather huge pockets at 4-7/8 but the corners spit out anything down the rail with pace unless it's absolutely perfect. Another room has a wide range of tables allowing one to play on any TV table from the last...

    Playing 3 person Cut-throat

Rotation on each suit gives you 2 opponent balls and one own ball sacrifice to keep your run going on every shot. That will def increase inning counts and make outs tricky. Unsolicited alternative: 9ball where every inning starts with BiH. This keeps racks short so nobody is sitting all...

Do you think these pockets were too large?

Put me down in the bigger pockets camp. I think 4.5" (2balls) is great. 4 and 3/8 is nice too. 4 and 1/4 already venture into 'better not try this on these pockets' land. And 4" give you a taste of some of the torture you will experience playing on a Chinese 8Ball table. It's not like...
