    RE-CUT Fixture

I've got a nice PM clearifying all off this so I understand how this goes together. I'll let the involved parties iron out any details - and I design my own. K

Not sure what we're talking about here: Who´s copied who ??? Jim copied Lee´s (in case not what is the difference), Hangemhigh copied Jim ? If I make my own, who's have I then copied ? If I make my own unique design and post pictures up here to show how they are, should I call it my property...

    RE-CUT Fixture

Tried to reply PM but it seems like you had a full box: Thanks for the info. I have been chewing on the thought of making me these since Lee poped them up here. But I thought on possibly making other versions but did not really come up with any new ways. So your idea is kind of nice where you...

    repair to joint area

Nothing new in your post - we're aware of it all. I'm not sure how he treated his playing cue - but the way he lived his life was for sure rough so if some one had his cue from the 70s or 80s I guess it could look like this:scratchhead: He was a phenomena which I guess many of us from Europe...

    repair to joint area

Neil, I'm working on a McDermott which has the joint (on the but) broken off after to many times knocking the cue in the table. The way I'm doing this is to chop the rest off, making a "mini-forarm" on top of the normal forarm with a smaller threaded metal joint. Then boring and installing a...

    repair to joint area

Neil, If you own the cue - I would possibly check with some snooker sites to see if there is some enthusiasts which where a big fan. Mr. Higgins was a rebel and I'm sure there would be some one out there which would appreciate to own the cue and then you could judge prize etc. If you are doing...

    Mezz "United Joint"

Not so sure this is correct. I know the Powerbreak cue has stock threads but I tried to mount a stock OB shaft on the United Joint - no fit - at least very very tight which had me stopping. Anyway, I'll figure it out when I'm back. N

    Mezz "United Joint"

I'm not at my normal location so I don't have any cues available to measure the difference between the United joint and a stock 5/16x14. http://www.miki-mezz.com/world/innovation/ Could any one help me out here and give me the potential differences between these and if it's a simple mod to...

Butt for the new Mezz PB Pro Break Shaft

Not sure if this correct.... I have the PB and PB II in stock but non of them fits on a stock 5/16x14 cue (Schon). It might be that you have a US version without the stock Mezz joint...

    Beware of Overseas wire transfers.

I have used both credit card and wire transfer when ordering from your country. Never have I had any problems where my sellers has always sent me the goods after they have received the money in your end. It do however mean that I have to send money before I have any goods (wire) but so far I...

    Tips coming off..

I've been in your shoes After changing to a glue available locally I had plenty of tips falling off. Very frustrating and I took a dive down in to some new glue versions and here is a thread we had running not that far back : http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=2648927#post2648927...

    Predator 314-2 ferrule question/installation.

When I repair the 314^2's I always remove the white stuff on the tenon and always make a custom fit ferrule with straight walls. Have not had one in return which I hope is because it holds up. I alway make the raw ferrule oversized and turn the OD down to the shaft. Many of the Predator players...

new shop layout & new shop dog!

Super nice. I like the dust control setup on the Jet sanding station. But boy you have a lot of machinery in a small place - which demands ultra tidy setups. Like it  Kent

    Man charged for trading ivory

Have been wondering - when is the "preban ivory" sold out??? When was the ban actually inforced? 70's or 80's? I guess there is not just me who see a gray earea here... If some one says it's pr-ban, how do you know? Personally I would never make something based on Ivory- I prefer to keep those...
