How do you know if you are in the right game?

Bunch of great info here. A really good player told me " you don't have to be a great player to win, the biggest part of winning to matching up. If you know you can beat this certain player, than you are already on your way because you will go into the match with confidence. This is on thing...

Breaking and your dominent eye. HUGE!!!

This is indeed is great information. I have just started breaking like you mentioned above. Thing is I found this out on my own after breaking like 2 hours straight. I noticed that my cue ball was always scratching in the side pocket, opposite where I break. Didn't matter what side I broke...

How do you know if you are in the right game?

What do you see in a player that determines you can beat this person for the cash? for instance, I was watching a couple of guys gambling with a friend, he made the statment " I can beat both this guys". I look at him and said, "you crazy" you need at least the 8.

    no more mr polite

When seeing the competition, I wasn't hard for me to figure out that you were my pick. I wish you the best of luck. One thing for sure, if you don't get selected, it can be an incentive to get after it in the box to prove you are the man.

    Are Break Cues Necessary?

I can't break with either cue, that's what really sucks. :(. Seriously, I have a break cue becuase is has a different tip and stiff shaft. On hill hill games, I will use my playing cue. To answer your question, If you have a sorry break like mine, NO, you don't need a different cue.

Tiered entry fee for lower-skill players

Money tier in tournaments is a great idea IMO. I have stated this before in other threads. It would bring in new faces to tournaments which results in fatter checks. Who know, maybe a lower tier player might get in the money, making it exciting for himself and the viewers.

Texas Open 9-Ball Championships $4,000 Added Labor Day!! Sept 4-7th

What are the odds of have the brackets posted somewhere where people can view them. Bigtruck, if this was possible, you could strike more intrest in your stream. People would know what matches are coming up and scedule there days accordingly. Just an opinion. Still pondering if I will make...

HOW CAN YOU (reasonably) PREDICT THE CB PATH

What I found out that works the best is to play this shot with no english for starters. Shot this shot about 30 times, all with different english to see how the CB reacts. No body here can tell you exactly the english you need to apply for the path because everyone stokes the CB differently.

I Used To Play Real Good....

The difference is the meaning of good. If this person played at a bar most of his life and beat just about everyone that walked in there, everyone in this bar would consider him "good"., becuase the don't know any better. With this said, we all do the same thing, in your town or city, you have...

What do you do when you suck???

When you suck Sometimes the only way to get out of it is to take a short break and regroup. Try to figure out what you are doing wrong. Sometimes it can be just a small thing in your routine that is throwing everything off. It's not that you suck, it's that you have lost confidence and your...

    My take on galveston

Hi Billy, I believe that many pros share you opinion. If everyone can just stick together, not just this tournament, but from the local level up, we might be able to change the game as we see it now. At least I hope;)

    Galveston $1,000,000.00 tournament

I will send my entry fee for the amatuer event this week. I think this event will get full if they stop it at 128 players. On a different not, a player told me this weekend he sent his money for the amatuer event a couple of weeks ago and they send it back to him. So I guess they are keep a...
