    Earl is trolling!!

My theory is aiming means nothing...

Ever see the straightshooting young gun play weak patterns and position and pretty much just outpocket the guy that moves good and knows the game better? You could say knowing the game better and moving better are a means to not miss. Just playing devil's advocate.

    Opposite eye dominance problem..Huge..........

Haven't read the responses, but being opposite eye dominant is a HUGE advantage in pool.

Who will win Archer / Strickland Match?

Johnny's not going to lose to Earl, at least on regular equipment; Earl will have to beat him. They'll probably both shark each others brains out. Johnny's pace will drive Earl up the wall and Earl's ability to create a surreal Hunter S Thompson environment will unsettle...well anybody.

Earl vs Ronnie O'Sullivan 10ft table

    Forget pool, let's talk boxing!

    So Alex is next?

Earl has no chance against Alex on a 10', but I'd love to see him prove me wrong.

10' Tables Future Of Pro Pool??

Interesting idea. Somehow creating a larger skillgap will help offset random elements.

    Earl will never make it

Crowd claps after Shane gets out. Earl: My out was a lot harder than that one. ROFL!!! GO EARL!!!!

How long should it take to become a very good pool player?

It depends on your definition of good. If you're talking A player, then 1 year is the fastest I've seen (more than once). Anything less is definitely achievable in a year; don't know about more. Either way it depends on how committed the person is and how smart they are at learning how to...

Was I hustling, or being hustled?!

Your gambling skills are leet. Pro tip: You can hear the sound of money by rubbing your one bill against itself.

    Knowing your limitations by JoeyA

There's a drill where you line up a straight in shot cue ball at 2nd diamond, object ball at other 2nd diamond and just draw it. I get it back to the rail and back up about 1/2 to 3/4 way up to the other rail, which is about average. The big stroke guys get back to the rail. Fun game for beers.

    Dogs and pool tips

A pro that I can't name said he only uses tips that have been passed by his dog. The hit is unmatched and improved his game by 3 balls.

    Unity cues!

You might sell even more if you spelled a bit better ;) Edit: check spelling of your website in your signature! OT who cares who makes the cues? They're plain janes and they're affordable. It doesn't seem like the point here to look at them as investments. My guess is that cuemakers who have...

Closed bridge do you keep wrist or turn them in

Turn it in enough when bridging open so the ridge is in line. On the closed bridge, it depends what kind you use. If you use a hoppe style bridge for example, then the open bridge ridge concept applies. I do think a stable ridge goes a long way - and for many of the finger positions to create...

Shane Van Boening Stroke from Svb/Scooter video - In Slow-Mo

It happens on his final stroke because it's longer than the practice strokes.

how do you counteract "the shakes"

I second this. Part of my pre-shot routine is to actually remind myself that the best I can do is follow my process, let go and just focus on the task at hand. I still get tense, but it's helped me a lot. I'd rather not take anything, just a personal choice.

Dominant Eye Test and it's Importance ! !

Thanks for this I've suspected I have this problem (certain shots look "off" but the reverse looks fine) and plan to try this out later. I've tried some other methods, but this seems a lot more intuitive.

People who use ghost ball aiming.

Uh I actually do that. I don't consider myself "above" doing so. Go ahead and laugh I guess :)
