As stated above, a pro taper is undestood to be no taper for 10-12 inches from the tip. Truth is any decent cue maker will taper it but the rate of taper is far less than that of a bar cue or cheap 2pc. Most every custom cue builder will have his own taper, anywhere from 2 to 5 seperate tapers...

Perhaps yu shoul clarify as to what Moori you are using and what hardess it was to. Personally I have seen no significant variation in Moori.
