    Taom Chalk

Agreed. Mine came yesterday. Although what I got was Pyro / Blue rather than V10 Green. I see about the same amount of chalk on the Aramith Tournament cue ball as before. Maybe it's just a little better. DEFINITELY plenty of chalk on the Centennial Cue Ball I also tried. Before using the...

    Rasson vs Diamond Tables

My poor self would be honored to have an 8ft. from either company! Please feel free to do a home reno TV show at my house and "Max My Man Cave!"

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Thanks for the link. I am a far too lazy complainer for such temporal excursions that cut into my irrelevant commenting time. LOL... Actually I did look that up and somehow the table knows this is not one of the other balls without a magnet... " Optical Sensor Ball Return In 1999, pool table...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

The ad for these balls on the Manningcues.com site says they are a replacement for Super Aramith Pro so I suppose that is the construction and quality level, but it has this at the very end... " Designed to work in Smart tables but can be used with any ball sets 2 1/4" in diameter." To me, as...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I have this same set and box! I wish I could have the graphic on that box for a poster on my wall! And honestly these are my wife's favorite set. She loves the marbled colors.

    50 and over tournaments

The reason we have 50 plus tournaments is so we don't have to listen to cRAP music and put up with kids whining when we whip em like a puppy... OFR! (Old Farts Rule) :)

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Agreed. I almost bought one but I will show my ignorance here. The description said they work with a "smart table" and while I have no idea what that is, it sounded like an altered ball so I passed. I wanted it based on style though.

Ive Never Heard Efren Reyes Give a Testimonial For a Pool Cue Before.

Spend some time on YouTube watching him through the years. He plays like no one else ever recorded. Maybe some better in the past, but no one is alive to confirm that. We only have what is written. With Efren, we can watch him all through his career and he seems like God just gave him a...

Ive Never Heard Efren Reyes Give a Testimonial For a Pool Cue Before.

This thread is so discouraging! I have spent so much on equipment to be like Efren! I didn't realize I just needed an old house cue that was warped with a slip on tip! LOL

    AZB Members in W. Ga?

I live about 20 miles due west of Atlanta just off I-20. Any members here live nearby? Maybe an opportunity to meet up as a group and play a few racks?

    Taom Chalk

I have read that the difference between TAOM Pyro and V10 is minimal, that the V10 is DEFINITELY better, but only in terms of not needing to chalk as often. Does anyone here have PERSONAL experience with both to comment on this aspect? Both are the same price everywhere I look, so no reason...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I saw and really like this Cue Ball. I think it would look really good with a set of Centennials in place of the blue dot ball.

You guys were correct as usual

I find a glove makes closed bridge shooting much more smooth. It's worth wearing one just for that. Open bridge? I see no advantage or disadvantage. When I miscue, it is ordinarily that I forgot to chalk, particularly on a strong follow or draw, or just crapped the shot with my stroke arm...
