    Ball Cleaner

I like Chem-Pak but find that it is like a car wax that leaves a microscopic film on the balls When they collide, it makes tiny with contact marks. After a while the balls look really dull. Aramith seems not to to do this in my experience. As mentioned earlier, 2 tbsp aramith to a cup of 90%...

Just bought a table. Ball question.

I have 3 sets of Dynaspheres from a "Skittles" set I paid $50 dollars for to their highest end "Rhodium" set and I can not tell ANY difference in performance across their low, medium and high price lines. Just very different styles. I honestly REALLY enjoy them ALL and recommend ANY dynasphere...

WTB: Dynasphere / Dynaspheres Rhodium cue ball (only)

I have seen and played a Rhodium set and understand why you would want that cue ball it's excellent. I also have a set of Arcos II myself and that cue ball is (in my opinion of course) as good as the Rhodium and looks almost exactly the same. There is a LOT of debate about Arcos II technology...

    Professional level according to Fargo

In Golf, players have to achieve certain metrics to become PGA Pros. Fargo could be the beginning of that for pool at a professional level it seems? Rather than "anyone who has the money can join the tournament" it would require working up through the ranks to achieve that title. That will...

Aramith 100 new ball set out tomorrow

Rule number 1 for ALL levels of collecting: Anything promoted and sold as "Collectible" absolutely isn't. If you are in the market for a new set of pool balls and like these, they will almost certainly be fabulous to play and look really nice. 20+ years from now, you will likely still be...

    Production Cues vs. custom

I own 2 players. A Viking F 50 and a J.Flowers 20 21. I bought the Flowers for a smaller 12mm tip and to try CF. I really enjoy playing with both. I doubt I will EVER be a player who could benefit from a "better" cue than these. If you find a cue and tip you like from a few hundred to just...

Beeler's Virtual Billiard Academy - Pool Lessons

Well then moving forward perhaps all instructors should be vetted and approved by you before being allowed to post here 😉 Anthony is a stand up guy, professionally trained educator, and has great communication skills. I forgot to mention he is also absolutely NOT Lou Approved 😁

Beeler's Virtual Billiard Academy - Pool Lessons

Also, the best players do not always make the best teachers. And the best teachers are not always the best players. Tiger woods has a coach who could never beat him on the course but helps his game.

Beeler's Virtual Billiard Academy - Pool Lessons

I was a student of Anthony for a year as a virtual student. He responded to EVERY video or communication I sent to him within an hour with clear graphics added to my videos showing areas to work on and voice messages to absolutely any questions asked about any aspect of my game. I am an...

If your on the fence on buying a ball polisher, buy it

Could you measure this with calipers? I don't know. It would take a very sensitive caliper. Can you tell it in the finish and how quickly the balls get covered with contact marks and need to be cleaned again? Absolutely. I didn't keep a time on it, but using a cleaner I purchased that uses...

If your on the fence on buying a ball polisher, buy it

Do you say this from actually making and using one? Both the bucket polishers AND the centrifugal polishers that use a pad and a drill cause the balls to rub and hit against each other. I have never seen an bucket, or non separating polisher of ANY kind, where the balls do not abrade each...

If your on the fence on buying a ball polisher, buy it

And rubs the balls against each other resulting in significantly reduced life of the finish

    Interesting Piece of Mosconi Memorabilia

"Mosconi" appears to be two seperate writings, not one continuous word. While that is not totally uncommon, the transition from the "s" to the "c" is overlapped and I have never seen that. In "Willie" the two dots above the "I's" go in two opposite directions which I have never seen. Also the...

    New Aramith pool balls

Now maybe the latest Aramith ball sets will be as good as the standard $100.00 Dynasphere Bronze sets! ;) :giggle:😁

    Very simple ball cleaner.

These work well. I had a similar setup. The downside is the balls are in constant contact and after a while these may induce more surface wear than a cleaner that separates the balls so they dont rub against each other.

Thanks to AZ Billiards community who write reviews

Agreed. I have read and benefited from many reviews here. As such, I have also posted a few when I bought something I thought the community might like to learn about.

    Efren's Derby Cue...???

It wouldn't matter if it was a lathe turned broomstick, warped from sun exposure. Just hand it to Efren and watch him go! LOL I TOTALLY agree that if Predator is not begging him to take their money for sponsorship they are crazy.
