    Efren

Efren really is the most entertaining, mentally amazing player in my lifetime by a LONG stretch. I've just never seen anything like him and enjoy watching him all through his career on youtube. There is something to learn in his every turn at the table. I wish him the very best.

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Totally agree! The ball seems like a misprint. I am a bigger fan of the cue ball from the Arcos II set with the triangle spots. #Firstworldproblems :-)

How can you fix the sidearm stroke?

If ANY mechanical issue is holding a player back, ask permission to record them playing with phone video recorder and help them see exactly what you are talking about then compare that to what should be. If they are interested in getting better this is a great teaching tool. I video myself all...

Clean Gleem Polisher Review from an owner...

I had the same concern, but after almost 2 years, I can tell you it does a great job. Especially with the spray mixture mentioned in the instructions, although I use double the amount of Aramith at 2 Tbsp per cup alcohol. While the balls tend to run on an axis they also clearly move and vibrate...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I am convinced this is the most rare set of the modern era. Predator Arcos. NOT Arcos II. Not sure how, but one just came available on the big auction site... https://www.ebay.com/itm/354515190171?mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&customid=link&campid=5335988529&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

    Which balls

On FB, "Legends of Pocket Billiards" recently had new, in the shrink wrap sets of Aramith Tournament TV Sets for $290.00 That's over $100 off! May want to reach out and see if he has a couple of sets left. They DO have the orange 5 ball but have the pink and browns.

    Which balls

A Clean Gleem 8 ball machine is only $350. And the 16 is $550 I believe. I have had mine almost 2 years and it's a great cleaner.

    Which balls

Depends on the age of the Centennials. As Garzar mentioned, if you play a lot of games with the 1 ball at the front, they do wear down over time. My centennials lasted about 20 years before they began to get a lot of contact marks and had to be cleaned more often. I suppose the finish from...

    Dynasphere Bronze balls......$100

I have a set of Tungsten (Art Deco pastel colors very cool) and Palladium (Standard colors with a cool rotor pattern) Both sets are absolutely amazing. The Tungstens, at the time I bought them, were the least expensive set available, and I got them for about $75.00. The Palladiums retail for...

    It’s my bday 12/29

HBTY FB! As a 7 year cancer survivor (Thank you LORD Jesus) I have learned that birthdays are, in fact, WONDRFUL days and I hope yours was fantastic, and that you have many more.

    Practice cue ball vs normal

I don't think it makes ANY difference in breaking or play. That is not the purpose. I own an Elephant training ball set (and several others I have picked up through the years). The trainers I own have different purposes. Most have markings to teach aiming. Rempe training balls teach the...

Which production cue maker would you buy from?

My Viking has a standard Vpro shaft. Haven't ever played one of the others. Also use a G2 m tip I have been very pleased with. It truly plays soft and old school. My J Flowers CF plays with MUCH less deflection but contrary to many here, I see that as only different, not necessarily better...

Which production cue maker would you buy from?

I could not be happier with my Viking. They actually offer 4 different joint configurations so you get the hit and feel you prefer. Standard is a 13mm tip but they can turn that all the way down to about as small as you like. They offer a myriad of tips to choose from. Their styles are...

Can cheap balls ruin your felt?

For $100 I would absolutely buy Dynaspheres or UPPER END Aramith. Just because a box says phenolic it doesn't mean high phenolic content. Even Aramith admits their sets below SAP have a lower phenolic content and are less quality. Any other set is suspect.
