Yeah I realized that there was a second choice option... Can't travel. Single dad, recently divorced. Tight budget and im unwilling to leave my 4 year old. Being that prelims and finals are here in Tampa that was my one choice.

It was a close call when I covered my table... I spent a little extra getting 860 as opposed to a few other clothes (including the brands most common on the tables I play matches on) which were recommended by other people... Im happy I did. Get what makes you happy. They don't have to play on it...

Who's competing in the US amatuer this year? I have a serious bone to pick but I'm holding my breath that things work out.. I got my entry in on time but got a call from them saying the venue here (tampa) for the prelim's is overbooked. They apologized and offered to put me on a waiting list...

ive played with all kinds of midlle of the road (price wise) production cues and most play well once you got a feel for them... the only one that i can honestly say I was disapointed with was a newer muecci a friend bought he payed 500+ for it and i cant begin to tell you how bad that cue was...

I think it's fairly bad a$$ if it's solid quality. I have a furniture table with claw legs, it's a 9 also but it's tricked out. Would hurt to trade out. It did strike me that the base molding appears to be at different wood. Seemed odd.

Sadly, It just doesn't translate to television very well. Its not going to matter when you air it, or what you do to tinker with it... it's just not much of a spectator sport. In person, with some stakes... its pretty entertaining... on TV, not so much... This is coming from someone who LOVES...

If it's severe, you likely have some degree of hyperhidrosis. I have that myself, my hands sweat rediculously. I personally wear a glove. I'm also a big fan of the finger slides, I've had 3-4 pairs. I need to get a new slide though. Here's some info on a medication (lotion) called Drysol. Drysol.

Someone I know is trying to sell a table and they have no idea what it is... No markings or name brand anywhere to be found, 3 piece slate. 9 footer, incredibly heavy... appears to be old. Anyone recognize this?

Same thing I was thinking. If your budget in under 100, your going to be hit or miss on cues manufactors in that range... a straight 'higher end' house cue with the shaft tapered down and a hard tip will give you all the stiffness you want and then some for under 100.

Yup, but I also realized... It works, perfectly. We aren't talking about taking out a dents made by a hatchet or trying to fix a shaft that some d0uchebag likes to swordfight with... Just a minor random dent/ding. Try it sometime, seriously.

As low as possible, The plan is to make this a loaner for newer players on my pool team. BUt...at the same time if it was an outstanding butt and the price made sense, I would make this cue my player... I guess to answer your question, it's all about the 'deal'. Im interested in hearing what...

I have an extra 314 uniloc, I'd like to but it on a butt and use it for a spare or a loaner for people on my pool team without gear... don't care what name brand or condition. Budget is tight, Anyone have something that would work? Thanks!
