I am a big fan of rerack if a ball goes down on the break. You should at least get a chance to sell out before you have the pleasure of watching the other guy run 8 and out. Break and run is for rotation games.

I love the tactical battles and the degree of difficulty. Much more fun to watch this than a mickey mouse run out on buckets for pockets. They have a shot clock, so the play is not that slow.

Jayson Shaw is a great player and probaly the hottest rotation player on the planet right now. But what has he done in 1-p that qualifies him for this? There are many more deserving than him as long as we talk one-pocket

Thats not a WPA rule, but an added rule used in some US tournaments and perhaps some gambling matches. IMO it slows down the game, players take even less risk, and also sadly elminates the two-way shots.

Peter Nielsen, Danish Champion, did well in Europe. Was pro in Taiwan for a while until he got fed up and gave up pool. Is still around now and then, but not an active player anymore. More important: Whatever happened to OMGWTF and her opponent Hair Dildo. Was fun reading about them :grin-square:
