Duh, I forgot how to give it, or read it. Does accessing it have something to do with the vbulletin viewing version being used?:o

Efren vs Busty - Smoking Aces Finals

Wonder if Efren and Busti playing in that too? I don't think I've seen Efren play barbox pool.

    How Would Play This Layout?

Depends: In ring game, I'm shooting Shanes shot(except..a stop shot on 1, that I think would be more accurate for me...going forward, hitting it firm, I would find a way to scratch in the corner:eek: ). In tournament play, or gambling...probably make it on the push, and spot it. ...since this...

    Josh Roberts v. Efren Updates

Josh Roberts First time I have seen him...the young man can play. Shoots real straight. Real good cue ball. Moves good. And on a power draw shot, I thought I say a 're-grip' slip stoke used. Seems a well rounded, strong player. I had heard the name, but had not seen him before...pretty...

    Ring game tournament

Sounds fun. What would be examples of not 'honest effort'? Is it hard to explain but easy to recognize? What penalty happens if it happens? Are there warnings or guidance as to do's and don't's? Example: ball straight away frozen to rail: Ok to smash it and hope? Not OK to feather it and...

How Would You Play This Layout?

Agreed, these are fun. I don't get any right, but I learn from those who can, and do, make good decisions and shots. Sorry if I've missed it, but has anyone posted a 'plotter overlay/matrix'...such that we could set up exactly where the balls lay? Kinda like a draftsman pre=printed graph...

How Would You Play This Layout?

BB..re 5 railer-see post #4. Easy safe...If referring to Bob Jewett's..I think about 1/2 ball bank on 2ball to middle diamond on head rail, maybe a little right spin on cb to go LR, SR, LR up under the 6, with a bunch of balls inbetween.

Holland's shot on 6 and 8 in World Cup final rack

Which is why I have nothing constructive to add to this discussion. Watching it in real time, I thot the 8 looked frozen after Karl's miss. If frozen, it seemed like the right shot to kick hard and hope to get lucky. Tough way to end it.

How Would You Play This Layout?

Bob has stated it pretty well, I like his 'should do' shot. But if it lays good..hit the 2 firm 1/2 tip low, one tip right...stun to about first diamond on short rail, 2 rail out of corner, spinning down table to the window above the 9. If that works, I think the rest can be handled...

    Breaking The Ball Slow Motion

Thanks for the slo-mo videos. Both are pretty level at contact. Both are monster breakers. I wonder how many bruised/broken knuckles each has had in perfecting their breaks. Another timing issue seems in play in loosening the closed bridge during the exaggerated follow throughs to nearly the...

    Calling out Jay Halfert

Jay is a stand up guy. ..... I think the OP is out of line here. ....I think some posts made that are supportive of Jay have been misunderstood by at least one person. Sarcasm and hyperbole is better understood in person, at times. Easier to see the facial punctuation and body language...

Wild finish. After so much great shotmaking and position play...Luck..good and bad determines the match. The finish reminded me of league night. All the excellent play did not.

A couple of us were. A buddy filled a little Gerber's baby food jar with fire crackers, leaving a fuse exposed through a little hole in the lid. Did the John Wayne grenade toss...his timing was off a little.:( Good news: didn't lose a finger. Bad news: despite bloody hand, his Mom whipped...
