    Cal Hedden cue

I don't believe that is the OP's cue.

    Cal Hedden cue

No clue. From what I understand, they man was a master machinist; so if the cue is well made and attractive, I would guess the value around the same as Palmers of the era. Similar to Fedunka/Meyer.

Which cues goes up in price over time?

Seems you're contradicting yourself. Care to explain?

    Cal Hedden cue

Was talking about the no-name guys copying Paradise & Palmer, not Cal.

Which cues goes up in price over time?

The days of cue value appreciation are gone. Nothing made today will appreciate. My only caveat is if one receives a cue directly from a tier one maker, and then flips it due to supply/demand. A cue bought second-hand in today's market is worth what one pays, or below. You'd have to luck into...

    Cal Hedden cue

A Hedden cue is pretty rare. Now, rare doesn't quite equal value. However, people who collect that era of cues would definitely be interested. More so, if it's proven to be one of Cal's, and not one of the hundreds of no-name, non-branded cues that were made in garages trying to copy...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Any time RC. If you don't collect, I'd love to add them to my collection - if any are found. He and I will be scanning and uploading our collections as an online archive to share. Everything will be watermarked to avoid counterfeiting. I think your collections would be a nice addition.

    Balabushka Business Card

There are several of us here that collect the cards. Let me know if you don't work out something with ideologist; I may be able to help. I have one as well, but not for sale. Just for info, they're not cheap. The least expensive I've seen was $250, and the most I've personally witnessed was a...

How tightly/lightly do you hold your cue?

I appreciate your video. My grip is the facet of my game on which I'm working right now. I feel it is what is holding me back. My grip has always been firm, and my stroke shots are always "hard" - as in muscled. I'm working much harder at making the stroke shots than people just above my current...

Value of JossWest with Sideways JW (68 -72)

Agreed. Even if the original builder makes new shafts, they're not original to the cue. I'm good friends with Cory Barnhart; and he's an "authorized" person to work on Scruggs cues. If I have him build me another shaft for my Scruggs SP, even though it may have Timmy's taper, it's still a...
