Totally agree with this. Much easier to play position on a choice of 6-7 different object balls rather than one. Not to mention if you get out of shape on a shot you usually have a couple other possible shots. 8 Ball on bar boxes drives me nuts.

I have used both and have a Samsara on my break cue now. Its not a BK3 however, and while the phenolic tips transfer a very slightly greater amount of energy, the disadvantages of them, such as a tendency to create miscues due to their inability to hold chalk well, far outweigh the benefits.
