    ATT: Dallas players.....

I'm coming to Dallas/Lancaster, TX on September 16th-17th for a business thing. I'll be looking for a clean, non-smoking pool room to hit some balls in on Wednesday night the 16th. Any local tourneys or players interested in some friendly games that night?

    Ki-Tech tips...(Outsville) Opinions?

I've been using Ki-Tech Hards since the 2013 Southern Classic in Tunica. I can echo every positive comment so far. Quality. Consistency. Price. Customer service. On and on. But, what seals it for me is the feedback of the hit and the SOUND. Renfro makes a Hard that cackles at you...

    A rich, dark red wood?

Thanks, all. Yes, I've changed my tastes a bit. I want a reddish-purple that is so dark it almost looks black. BHQ made an amazing cue with the Bois de Rose. Just loved it. I'm currently trying to come up with a plan for my cuemaker, Gary Johnson. Looks like we'll be going with a...

    A rich, dark red wood?

Bringing up this old thread that I started...... Bois de Rose is what I'm looking for. I think I found a source, but I may be on a waiting list. Anyone have experience with it? I saw some amazing stuff by BHQ.

    Accu-Rack or Magic Rack?

I've used both. Accu-Rack.....hands down. It should last for YEARS and be very consistent while doing so. The balls are frozen, but not necessarily wired.

    Tor Lowry Info.

I know Tor personally. I went thru his "14 Day...." training and stay in touch with him to this day. You won't find a better guy to share pool knowledge than Tor Lowry. He's THAT good. Your best bet is to apply online or at the very least go to Zero-X Billiards on Facebook and see if he...

    Rooms to Play AR

I will echo Krome Billiards. I love their new location. Great tables. Clean balls. Good food. Excellent waitstaff. Lots of room around the tables. Hit me up and we can knock some balls around. Don't get too excited, tho. I'm about a half-step above a banger.

    Great White.... Free Drawing.....

I'd like to be in the drawing. The Great White that I got from the first run was ok, but my dream is a "normal" square, blue cube. It's still pretty tough to beat baked Masters for me. Always willing to try new things, tho.

    Magic Chalk..... CHALK WARS!!!!!!!

I haven't tried Magic Chalk, but it's refreshing to hear a manufacturer praise the competition. Keep pluggin' away at it, Renfro.

Does anyone have team JERSEYS for league play?

I started up a team a few sessions ago. Technically, we're finishing up our 2nd one together and already plan on beginning our 3rd in late June. Originally, I wasn't much for a team looking like a team, as I feel like pool is an individual sport. I still feel that way, but I have decided that...

Who's the most intimidating player you've ever seen?

I've played Archer, Varner, Chris Melling, Monroe Jones (Vernon Elliott's last apprentice).....among others. The one that really intimidated me so much that it felt smothering.....was playing CJ Wiley. At times he was stone-faced. Emotionless. It was as if he held no regard that I was even...
