As many times as Fedor has won DCC banks, have you seen him gamble playing banks?
Who would you bet on against Thorpe, Fargo, Brumback, Daulton, etc. Do you think Fedor beats them all in 9 ball banks?
Not full rack.
Chat had it 100% correct when they said that everyone is chasing around a few high rollers trying to get in on it.
Action was/is so sparse that Big Truck was advertising every few hours for people to come in and play.
Then everyone is enamored with Carl and Dunn playing a $130 or $150k match...
Adaptation is not really the word here. Hitting the ball in any other pocket and losing has people nudging the ball up near other pockets and then you see who can hit it the thinnest, or you start like they did last night on "you are on 2 fouls" etc. Never said I haven't played it.
You have Carl playing Yawn!!!!! That whole I have so much more money and I wont play for anything normal is played out.
Then on the other end you have the Gomez crew playing all the back pocket, one ball, games that only they play.
Stop allowing one ball one pocket on the action tables please.
It is incredibly boring and really only interesting to a very select group of people.
Can't anyone match up 9 ball or 8 ball anymore?
Not sure that Payne was on the low side, but IIRC he went for 6k in the calcutta and Riley Adkins (Dee's son) went for 16k.
Yes $140k is a huge lick, but factor in all the times players played in them and didn't cash, but still had that huge nut to fade.
Riley was a 6 and Payne was a 7 or the...
You can also bump the entry fee up for a certain speed to a really high number and change the race like those split bracket tourneys to where he goes to 11 and the others go to 2 or 3 something like that.
