Opinions regarding a former top pro playing in and dominating a Poolroom‘s weekly handicapped tournament?

Mark Jarvis used to show up at the equivalent of a beginners fun center (place for kids and young adults to play) no alcohol, 8 ft drop pocket tables, Off brand named tables, but first place was a few $$ so he showed up to it. Most of the players had Steve Miz sticks from Sears or Pennys.

Brickyard Classic - Second Day 2 Matches

This is a bump from 2012, but kind of Mosconi cup related. Look at this local Indy bar table tourney getting Billy Thorpe, Skyler, Mark Wilson and even Landon Shuffett out there playing. Amazing it was that long ago.

If there was a calcutta of people who run calcuttas, who is the blind bid?

Who runs the best calcutta and gets the most out of the room, without unnecessarily drawing it out way longer than needed. We have a few from Indy who do it pretty well.

    Billiard Booking Software

If it was me, I'd go to my local college CPT or CO SCI and talk to the instructor, get a student to build you exactly what you want, may even work it into a project where they make money and get credits.

    The best one-handed jack-up players

I'll throw a name out that I've not seen mentioned. Leroy Fonteneau from Detroit and later from Indy. He played Miami and came out ahead.

    Down Town LA

I figured that out on my first trip to NYC 2 weeks ago. 14 miles was all it was from Yankee Stadium to the rental. Then I was told that is 14 NYC miles.

    Accu-Stats Question

Would you guys stop being logical please? Far easier to go to a forum, log in, post a question, check back for responses, then do what you should have done first.

    Etiquette question

Shaw's antics are widely known and rival Earl's. But even the commentators were saying no, cmon, not now.

That's a great example of what a dick J Shaw is.

And there is kicking at your ball, and kicking into the pack to take a foul.

    Vegas info.

Pool players, darters, cornhole, etc. need to treat the hotels better and we can move on from the Westgate. I see people drink beers and just put them right there where they finish. Trash bathrooms, trash the playing area, etc. We won't get into a nice hotel like the pros, because we act...

    Early Schick Cue Value

That Schick may not fare well in a refinish, that was one of his very early name stamps. Love his sticks.

Games other than pool in pool halls

Bullshooters is always a preferred spot for us darters. Steel is hard to find now, especially with liquor. The insurance rates go through the roof.

Pool's newest competitor for TV time.

Oh man, this one hurts. After competitive tag and roof football, we now have.

Games other than pool in pool halls

Used to gamble with Richie Rich when he would come through Indy playing 8 ball Deluxe. Guy could play some pinball.
