I don't get it. Is this cue still for sale?

Qj09 Is anyone familiar with this cue? Did Bill McDaniel actually make this cue? If not, when was it made, and by whom?

Do any of you have any advice regarding the playability of McDaniel cues, particularly those with an ivory joint?

Our eyes are sometimes bigger I purchased a cue in the $1,200 range, fully intending to play with it. When I received it, however, it was so perfect, I just couldn't bring myself to use it. So I take it out every once in a while and look at it. Maybe some day ...

I've done the same search and never found a plain Schon other than the STL 01.

Do any of you AZers have advice on how to learn to jump the ball? Do I need a jump/break cue? I have a number of fairly straight, old one piece cues. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks to all who posted or sent me an email. There are obviously many highly regarded cuemakers out there with enthusiastic followings. Your thoughts are much appreciated.

Does anyone have any views regarding Dayton v. Omen v. Klein v. Morris? There have been what appear to be nice cues from each of these cuemakers recently at reasonable prices. But, there are so many cuemakers out there, it's difficult to keep up.

I'd definitely be interested at the right price, as well!
