I have the privilege of owning a Mike Cochran cue and I can say unequivocally you won't be disappointed. Mine is simpler than this one, but came out better than I could ever have imagined.

If "Sheldon" is Sheldon Lebow (and he appears to be based upon his avatar), he makes a really outstanding cue, and pays great attention to detail. You do not need to send anything to OB. You can count on receiving a terrific shaft from Mr. Lebow.

I also purchased one of the 1x2 cases. To say it is awesome is understatement. The leather work on these cases is out of this world. You will not be disappointed.

It's a bit of a crapshoot at that price point. It also depends greatly on the cue's details. The fancier the cue, the more expensive it will be. That being said, a cue with points and veneers is likely to be of greater interest in the long run and therefore hold its value. With respect to...

I own two cues from Mr. McLennon and, let me tell you, CAMCUES are great cues. This one is a true bargain.

I also bought a Tice cue from Joe a few months back and I must say it is really outstanding player, and stunning to look at!
