Probably because snooker players in general aren't smart enough to understand the benefits of gloves (see my posts in the referenced thread). If they wore gloves, they might reach the level of play achieved in pool!

Unfortunatly the Dutch are falling behind in bumps, and in all other cue sports. In fact, apart from the few old-schoolers left around, I've never met ANYONE from Holland that can hold a cue.
