Butts That Fits Falcon Pool Cue Shafts

Regarding the wrap, you could have it rewrapped and not pressed. Many things may be possible for the weight, some more involved than others. It would depend on the existing hardware.

    Sealing between cuts

To me, it seems logical that sealing a shaft will seal moisture in as well as out. I'm with the school of thought of letting it move as much as it will in between cuts. IMO it is not worth handling the harsh chemicals for what I see as little gain. I also don't believe you need more than a week...

    Finally started....

Be prepared for a long and expensive hobby. Yes, it can also be rewarding, as is anything that will occasionally give you that "job well done" feeling. There used to be a poster here (he's probably still around, I just forgot who it was) that had in his signature line: "I build cues because I...

Cutting down carbon fibre shaft at joint

You may know something I don't but carbon fiber has a fairly thin wall thickness already. Even taking .004" could prove to be "fatal". This is a $500.00 shaft. The best option here is to simply live with a .004" (.008" diametrically) rise in the joint from butt to shaft. Once you get it out of...

    Coring tools

Yes. This. It can also grab and twist the way any drill bit does when it breaches the other side.

    Wavy pin

Expect it to be extremely tight. Wax the pin, and work it in and out. Designed to compress threads in shaft wood to fit tighter and last longer. 2 taps are out there now, one for plastic recently came out.

    Finish not dry

Do not measure by weight. Measure by volume. If the density isn't exactly the same, your mix will always be off. Removal? Good question. I wish I had a good answer.

    Revo weight bolt?

I guess I stand corrected. Won't be the first time. Or last...

    Revo weight bolt?

That knowledge will require somebody buying a $500.00 Revo shaft and donating it for dissection. Not many here willing to pony that up.

    Triumph Cue Tips

Are they even really leather? Up close they look like some kind of fibrous material.

Gun drills - how much air pressure?

I haven't seen this mentioned but you will want to drill/bore about an inch deep in the backside. Otherwise, as the gun drill comes through the other side, it may catch, grab, and can wreak havoc.

Looking for high quality Irish linen

Hurlbert definitely finishes out nicest but available colors are limited.

    Changing tip, change fiber pad?

This. If you mess up a Revo, you mess up a $500.00 shaft. Be prepared.

    Mods please read

Did I accuse you of being a racist? My comment basically stated that whoever it was that called the mods racist is more likely one himself. If that was you calling the mods racist, then yes. I called you a racist. If it wasn't you making that ridiculous claim, then no. I did not call you a racist.

    Mods please read

I have seen all 3 of those topics covered in NPR.

    Mods please read

LOL. Thank you for supporting my point. Somebody has their undies in a bunch. So how do you feel about CTE aiming? :D

    Mods please read

So much ado about nothing. Threads don't need to be opened. People can be ignored. I have seen many a thread either get shut down or moved to NPR from other places. No big deal. "No politics anywhere else" has, for the most part, been enforced. Calling the mods here "racist"? As for that, as...

    NPR Forum gone?

There used to be more off topic posts than there are now, inquiries about different subjects, more politics now than ever before as our country becomes more and more polarized. But the fact remains, then, now, and always - you aren't required to look.
