wood type Im not totally sure what type of wood but Im fairly confident that it is Ash.

Schuler pics here you go, there is a small ding at the base of the shaft, I tried to get a good pic of it. This cue is pretty light Id say around 18, the shaft is around 13. I just want SOLD shipped

Ive always wondered Ive noticed on all his blanks that a piece of maple is spliced in on the bottom below the points, why is that?

Ive noticed some builders have an outer veneer which looks to be inlaid but yet the rest of the inner veneers seem to be spliced. Whats up with this and what purpose does it serve? thanks

thanks The truth is the Mottey just sits in the closet. I pull it out about twice a year to hit some balls. I like the Bender so much I dont want to play with anything else.

I think youll like it Its hard define stiffness IMO with all the different tapers out there. I wouldnt classify his cues as abnormally stiff but firm. I think youll like it fine.
