Ive seen this Ive seen Bakelite tips at the pro shop. Is this the same thing. Also these are the same tips they put on the Lucasi jump cues. This place in question was selling the tips for 25 or 30 dollars a piece.

If I were you The Dishaw cue has more value than the cues you are looking for. Those other cues can be gotten relatively cheap. I would send it to Dan, get a 2nd shaft and maybe a refinish and you got yourself a gem.

try this my friend GolfParent has a Dieckman on Ebay, Ive seen it and hit some balls with it. It is 59 or 60". The extra length is in the butt so the shaft is standard. Its a plain jane so you might give a look. hope this helps

definitely spend the extra $100 spend a few more bucks and go for the Joss. The few Players cues Ive seen and shot with had a dead hit and I thought they were cheaply made.

I prefer blue This place I play has a light blue Simonis and I think I see the edge of the ball better. I think it has something to do with more reflection and less shadows. I could be wrong but I like it.

Me Too I do this myself but I think people do it because it has nothing to do with stabilization for the cue and its just nervous energy.

my opinion Ive had several solid capped ivory joints and only 1 sleeved and I think the solid capped has a softer hit than the sleeved. I dont think the sleeved affects the feel, I think it acts more like a collar than anything. But then again Im no expert.
