What is the best 'players' joint??

There is no such thing as a "player" joint. Joints will change the feel of a cue dramatically but its just as subjective as someones favorite color. Hit a few and figure out your favorite. Sent from my BlackBerry 9650 using Tapatalk

IndyQ was hacked into keep bumping to top

I got the same email from a friend of mine that passed away last year. Imagine my surprise when I found out he was stuck in Spain. Sent from my BlackBerry 9650 using Tapatalk

Pool Tournaments - Capitalism or Socialism???

When professional pool was pulled off of television any chance at a major sponsor went out the window. The only money breathing life into pool at all is coming from the amateur ranks. Pool has to get back on television. Without that market it will not have a chance. Sent from my BlackBerry...

Are some Pros afraid to play some other Pros?

While I'm not the biggest Dechaine fan around. Few can argue that he hasn't achieved pro status. He's currently in the elite playing big box 10 ball. Which is the stick that others are measured. He's definitely one of the top Americans playing the game right now. He won the Ultimate 10 ball...

Curious if Anybody Has Experienced Warpage With Their OB Shaft?

I've had a couple warp but I just took them to an OB booth at a tourny and they replaced them on the spot. They have been very good about standing behind their product in my experience. Unlike Predator IMHO. Sent from my BlackBerry 9650 using Tapatalk

    6x12 snooker.

I believe he did. I know he custom fit the rails himself and I've never seen them use anything but full size balls on it. Sent from my BlackBerry 9650 using Tapatalk

    Asymmetric play

What is the point in playing a better player if you're not going to try to learn something. Hell I learn some shots from people who can't play a lick sometimes just because real players would never try to see if it goes. What is the point in playing another player period if you're just going to...

    6x12 snooker.

Would you use a snooker cue when playing golf on a 6x12 using regular pool balls instead of snooker balls? Sent from my BlackBerry 9650 using Tapatalk

Help to ID a Falcon Cue

If I remember right Falcon is a company started by Ernie Chen in Canada. The few I've hit play really well. The used value is probably about the same as most mass produced cues. Probably anywhere from $75 to $150 depending on the condition. Sent from my BlackBerry 9650 using Tapatalk

    Can't stand APA 9-ball

Sounds like you like to ship the 9 but don't like running balls. Waiting for the other player to screw up isn't good 9 ball. It can get you through a lot of lower level players in a short race in some podunk tournament. But play anybody who really understands the game and doesn't miss and...

    Most memorable stiff?

I played a guy a $100 set one time. We each posted a bill on the light. When I won the set I reached up for the money and it was two $1 bills instead of the hundo we put up there. I'm still not sure where it went although I strongly suspect he put the switcharoo down while I was walking back to...

Any Bad experience with any Cue maker?

I've honestly never had any bad experiences with a cuemaker. The two I deal with most of the time are Jim Ingram and Sean Huckleberry. Both offer excellent work, at a fair price with excellent customer service. Both have made full cues for me, shafts, repair work, you name it. Other...
