Big Tyme Seniors Event I got knocked out about 1AM by Sonny Bosshamer and that got me 4th place. Ronnie Wiseman had the Hot Seat and Bob McFerrin lost the Hot Seat Match. I left pretty much right after I lost because it was so late. Payouts were something like this if I remember: 1st $750...

Dress Code I'm looking forward to playing in these events for the first time. My only beef would be with the asinine "NO SHORTS" part of the dress code. Vegas now allows shorts and so should Texas IMHO. See yinz there!

Same as last week? Is this the same as the tournament held last Sunday (to benefit the team going to Las Vegas for the APA)?

I can't wait either...... I agree Ray......this tournament is a blast. It was the first tournament I entered when I moved to Texas in 2011......so it will always hold a special place in my heart. You were kind enough to let me (Bob Guzik) in the booth with you last year....and I had a blast...

It was a Joke.... Thanks Ray.....but I sort of wrote that tongue-in-cheek as I was referencing the fact that his name was spelled "Brandon Shiff" on the back of last year's t-shirt.......:eek:

Craig McPartlin??? I'm pretty sure it is NOT Matt Clatterbuck.....looks like it could be Craig McPartlin who I think is from Michigan?? I think McPartlin did enter the Pro Event this past March at SBE.

Recruits for Fall Houston 8 Ball League.... These are a few of the guys I recruited to play in the Fall 2012 Houston 8 Ball League at Slick Willie's Dairy Ashford..... I'm not sure how we will do because it is certainly a tough league....:eek:

Come on man...... When permitted I always wear my iPod when playing in tournaments. It's not because I am being 'rude' or 'inconsiderate' to my opponent....it's simply so I don't have to listen to any of the following: arguments on other tables, music I don't care for on the jukebox...

There is no hotel on site yet..... There is NO ONSITE HOTEL at the new venue. It is my understanding that a hotel is being built but will not be finished until 2013 at the earliest. You must find a place nearby to stay......I would recommend looking into Staybridge Suites around...
