    Replacing rails on a Valley

Penguins are top notch rail If you like American Made products and dont mind paying a premium penguin makes an exceptional product. They use durable stress tested wood and a saw tooth, deep pat'd Tee nut. Uncovered they run about $250.00 with brand new rubber. I also have an import version...

    Abandoned Cues

That is probably the case, but you would think they would at least ask, or come by and see it in the case... they dont have a stick anymore so you know they are in the market for a new cue.

Im using a 9' aluminum straight edge & a 4ft level for installs currently. I know a lot of installers are all about the machinist level from starret. Does anyone have experience using both? Im wondering if itll will be worth it to replace my straight edge?

    9/11.... memorial cue???

If your doing it for charity its fine, the positive PR is natural side effect, if the attention is what you want and you make some money for a good cause its a win win. i hate the U2 Africa concerts where they take up +85% of the profits the concerts make. What do you think about an injured...

    9/11.... memorial cue???

If the custom cue was auctioned for charity it would be a good thing for sure. But if you just put some burning building and a couple of sad firemen on there to make a quick buck on it thats not cool.

    moving a barbox...

You should get the pool table close as possible to level before you put the slate on. Run the ball on the pool table playing surface after you put the slate and rubber cushion back on. Most of the time with older bar pool tables the 1 piece slate gets a sag towards the center (usually at the...

    moving a barbox...

Paying a pro to move it is going to eat up any money you saved on the buy. You might be better off taking the rails off yourself, pulling the slate and just hiring some furniture movers. theyll be cheaper than a billiard mech. the table will be pretty easy to level & re assemble. just make...

Make your life easy, get a four wheel furniture dolly and some nice straps. two guys pick up the table, a third positions the dolly centered under the center pocket. the table will balance perfectly on a nice 4 wheel furniture dolly. then get a truck with a lift gate or a trailer with a ramp...

Should Cuemaker offer free repair on their own cue when the forearm broke in half?

pro rate. A pro rated repair would be more than fair regardless, if the cue is only two years old. the damage description doesnt sound like manufactures defect. if the cuemaker knew what he was doing the choice of would cant be the issue. drops, improper storage, doing the two handed behind...

What kind of table is this? How do I care for it?

great table That is a nice old table. Im thinking its an old Peter Vitalie, based on the legs. You defiantly need to refelt, it probably playing good becuase whoever had it before you seemed to play on it alot and was pretty good. That laser line break scar is great. nice table with a lot...

    New Slate Dolly

Yours look awesome for doing a move by yourself. The drywall cart isnt going to make you be able to work solo. but it makes life easy for a two man crew. honestly though the expense of the cart is a deterrent. especially if your running two man crews anyway.

    New Slate Dolly

with three sets & three steps no. one set three steps, yes. one set and a small landing its amazing. the size might be a problem if you run your installs out of an old Toyota t100 but if you have a box truck or a nice trailer it straps to the wall perfect.

    New Slate Dolly

A real drywall cart is the best. I can move 3 sets of slate at the same time through corridors without breaking a sweat on this.
