Switch to Blue Diamond and put chalking your cue, even if it's just one light swipe, into your preshot routine. Your play will improve as will your confidence.

If you have a good cue repair/maker they can probably make you a custom extension for your cue. They can put a sleeve in the butt end then match a pin to it for the extension. Most of these extensions are in the 8" to 10" range. You can get them to match your cue. Mine matches my Predator...

I like putting polyurethane over the wrap. Still get the look but eliminates the slick sliding part of it. I will never have another cue with a wrap of any kind.
