    Difference between white/black/clear magic racks?

The Magic Rack is definately the way to go if you like having the rack (or the racker) having a bearing on the outcome of a match. I have used one since they first came out. I currently use the black one that just says Magic Ball Rack on it. The side you have up is shiny and the side you...

    Sharks???? Really???

To clarify something, I definately have nothing against Mr. Murnak. As a matter of fact, I love his cases.

What happened to karen core ???

See...........that's what happened to me when I gave my opinion of Sharks. I was burned at the stake............at least I spelled stake (steak) correctly.

    Sharks???? Really???

Rant?? I hardly think my couple of sentences would be defined as a rant. I think I just gave my review of something just like you would for anything, be it a short movie clip or a product. Granted, I will give the man his fair due for the effort. But I do think that some of the members here...

    Miscuing with Kamui chalk...0.98

Switch to Blue Diamond and put chalking your cue, even if it's just one light swipe, into your preshot routine. Your play will improve as will your confidence.

    Cue extensions

If you have a good cue repair/maker they can probably make you a custom extension for your cue. They can put a sleeve in the butt end then match a pin to it for the extension. Most of these extensions are in the 8" to 10" range. You can get them to match your cue. Mine matches my Predator...

How would you handle this at this point?

I believe your screwed either way. Like the poster said earlier, even if he finishes it you probably won't be happy with it. I have never understood who could pay for a cue and then wait a couple years for it. There are way to many cues out there just waiting on a buyer than to go thru this...

    Magic Rack vs. Delta 13

Here is a good way to carry the Magic Rack. Go to one of the home improvement stores and go to the plumbing section. Find the PVC plumbing parts. They have a straight piece that is 8" long and 1 1/2" diameter. Keep the Magic Rack in the original wrapper with the thin piece of cardboard that...

    Magic Rack vs. Delta 13

I have used the Magic Rack for quite awhile now and for the money its the way to go. But I still run into people who don't like to use it because I think they think they are getting duped or something. The fairest way to play 9-ball is to rack your own and the 9-ball doesn't count in the...

    Question concerning apa

The room I play in has around 70 teams that play there during the week. Between the eating and drinking I think the owner loves it. No room of any size has ever made it in the Charlotte NC area without the APA.

Payment problems, could anyone help please?

I think I could find a cue to buy which wouldn't take me through all this hassle. And you can pretty much send a money order from anywhere in the world to just about anywhere in the world.

Is it pretentious to play with a certain cue?

This is the "hired gun" that was going to knock off the break and runs across the country? Now he's quitting pool? I think our cash is still safe.

    Apparatus for timing break speed

Thanks for your help. I actually didn't see it but our APA league operator did but she couldn't remember the name of it. She said they had a display up and when the cue ball went under "something" it recorded the speed. I will send her a picture of what you sent and see if that's it. Yes, we...

    Apparatus for timing break speed

This thing is like one thing I saw awhile back that helped you practice breaking without the racking. It's used at events where people come up and pay to break the it's a contest with the winner getting a prize. There was one in Vegas last week and I am trying to find one to use at our local...

    Apparatus for timing break speed

There is an apparatus out there used at some trade shows and events that is placed on the table and electronically times your break. It has a thing that goes on the break end of the table with a ball that you hit. When the cueball goes under/through the beam it clocks your break. Anyone ever...

    Sharks???? Really???

Well, I watched an episode of Sharks today. That was 6:28 that I wasted that I can never get back. Guess Murnak has made a ton on cases and had to spend it somewhere. Geez............

    Linen wrap too slick

I like putting polyurethane over the wrap. Still get the look but eliminates the slick sliding part of it. I will never have another cue with a wrap of any kind.

How many wins to get to money!

They are paying out 96 spots in the U.S. Open. With the double elimination format, how many wins would you need to reach the money? Thanks.....
