My opinion of aiming system, in case anybody give a damn

Mosconi was so good he can't write a book. But! guys now days are so good that even if they can't write....well that dose not make sense. I'm working on a system its called the C. system.

    Warm-up strokes ...

Making balls is more being aware of things about the equipment than formulating ideas based on what you think you know...from what you see. When you can feel what the perfect word description of the action is, you will understand it, internally as opposed to a vague idea based on an abstract...

    HAMB in the long run

Hitting a million balls will get you there as long as you have absorbed correct fundamentals. I have the very same problem---practice can only do so much; however, it's the only source of preparation for the box....two totally different mindsets. I wouldn't stand a chance matching up with a guy...

    Diabetic Pro players and competeing....

I wonder if I'm diabetic. The other day I drank a highly caffeinated soft drink before heading to the pool hall. Around an hour later, I had to eat something in the middle of a match or I would pass out from starvation. I'm guessing this is one of that positive side effects of caffiene...If not...

    Sportmanship at US Open

That's funny......people have off days. Making it that deep and then losing can be really frustrating. That Sh$t happen to me I would just put all the balls in my pocket and walk out.

What's the "purest" form of billiards?

It wasn't that tuff now that i think about it. I just didn't know much about making balls compared to the 14.1 guys. Your discription of the table sounds about right, really hard for someone like myself to run many balls. If you get a strong short stop nine ball player they might be able to run...

    Billiards bridge vs Snooker bridge?

Snooker cue vs a 14m shaft, what has more power? Some guys play with a 14.25 on a snooker table.

    Mosconi's run

Have you seen Efren warmup? I think the differences are that clay weighs more on nappy clothe and spreads more true than the balls of today.True as in you can predict the destination of the balls more accurately. I looked up footage of that generation and the pockets are gargantuan. The balls...

What's the "purest" form of billiards?

I played a 14.1 tourney and steamrolled deep into the tournament for the first time ever playing any 14.1....with a bad tip. There is only a few things you need to know to be able to do that. Some of the top guys ran quite a few balls, but there where two tables no one can run more than 45...

    Question for any pool instructor

It's very hard to miss the cueball. You should glue a tennis racquet to the tip if you have this problem.

Support BEF and help spend Dr. Dave's money

What exactly does this organization do? I'm late on this action, but will donate as long as Dr Dave still gets charged.

Who accredits and empowers the WPA?

Just recently have I realized how ignorant about pool I have been....and I know a lot of real, broke pool players. I have no idea what the WPA is, and why pool was left out of Olympic sports....but it should not be given just a spec of hope....2020? Really?....and the sad thing is WE have no way...

    Diamond Tables: Sup, yo? Wack...Playstation

I like how diamonds play. It took a while to get used to but most of the tables I played on have played pretty true. I've never run into a table with bad cuts either so you somewhat have to hit it pretty good.
