Justis LiteWeights - New Name Contest

Or you could play up the engineering involved... ie. The Evolution Series. Or you could call it the 'Chicken Little' series because it doesn't have any guts... :-)

Morri tips? Anyone have this problem?

I just use regular old Tweeten's cement. As long as both surfaces are clean and sanded, it works fine - I've never had one come off and I have medium Moori's on 5 of my cues.

Ever had you cue, Case, Equiptment RIPPED Off in a Pool Room

Someone once took a bite out of my chicken sandwich while I was playing... oh, and several french-fries have gone missing while I was in the washroom. You just can't trust anyone these days... sigh.

Question for all you Whitten Case Owners

I say this with about 95% seriousness. I use the corks as well. My wine has alcohol in it but the corks work just as well. Some better French wines have very long corks which gives you more flexibility, and some of the Australian wines have fake corks that cut down better than real corks...

    the olhausen waterfall

Is it just me... or does this particular table remind you of Gumby somehow? I guess I'm a sucker for traditional table styles and my guess is that a modern design like this would be harder to unload if you ever have to resell it. Olhausen makes good, solid furniture style tables, as does...

Welcome, Roy. Having seen some of Roy's cues in person, I can vouch for the fact he makes wonderful cues. Not that he has a lot of spare time on his hands to make 'em these days from the sound of it...

    Pool Books

Lol... the extra $10 was only if you quoted the web site. Byrne has a collection of short stories about pool, some of which are quite old and by famous authors. Byrne's book of Great Pool Stories. I enjoyed it and learned a few new facts about how pool was played in the past... Don't be too...

    other hobbies?

I fish a lot and, to be truthful, rarely get skunked. Reminds me of when I was at a launch station on the Trent-Severn waterway where I sometimes fish and saw a couple of young Asian guys fishing. I said, "Catching anything?" "No, we never seem to catch anything..." "What are you're using...

    Porpers Big Shaver---Any Good???

I like it and it does a great job but it does take some practise to use properly for trimming the installed tips. Try a house cue or two first. I, personally, wrap the ferrule and the top of the cue with a thin layer of masking tape to avoid accidentally gouging it (like I did the first time I...

    Cuetec vs. The Production World

They're like Meucci's. I heard a guy left his Meucci in the back of his open truck. When he realised what he'd done, he rushed back and found there were two other Meuccis beside it...
