I agree... two possibilities... 1. There's an air space under the tip or the tip is loose, or 2. he may have loosened the ferrule by being too agressive when facing it off. I had a cue that 'tinked' for months until I finally had the ferrule replaced after 3 different tips.

Yep... when I first started to play a few years back, I was looking for a good pool instructor and was told by several people that Benny was by far the best teacher in Canada. It's a bit of a long trip from here (Scarborough) to Edmonton though....

Benny is one of the great pool teachers in Canada and a former Canadian 8-ball champion. Great player...
