    Most expensive cue?

I never said it did. But it's the closest thing to a supported reference I've heard so far. The rest has been pure speculation. I guess it's possible. There are a few American cue-makers who only sell to Asian buyers because they know they can get more for the same cue over there vs here.

Nope... a donut without a hole. Your turn - I'm outta here... lol.

    Please share your secrets

It's a donut without any holes. Very popular in Canada at Tim Horton's. (Or possibly a variation of 'Duchy' which is the territory ruled by a Duke. Or even possibly someone from Holland...) IMHHO.

    Please share your secrets

This has been bothering me for some time and I have to take issue with this. A flute with no holes is a pool cue. And a donut with no holes is a Dutchie.

    Chalk & Cue Goes Under....

It's unfortunate but Catherine decided to take a break from playing pool. Thierry told me she just got fed up with it but, who knows, she may get the bug again one of these days. I played her in Toronto at Shooters and we split a dozen games of 9-ball but she was being very generous... I love...

    Chalk & Cue Goes Under....

I'm going commercial... the book should be out in a few months... you'll be able to buy it at amazon.com. It'll be called "Hamster Tales"... Not that I expect to sell a lot of copies but it's a fun venture suggested by some regulars on RSB.

    Chalk & Cue Goes Under....

I imagine Sherry would be quite happy to keep on keeping-on if she could just find the advertising... the other problem was that people were always happy to get a free copy but not enough people were willing to pay for it. There are a few good pool magazines out there but Chalk & Cue was the...

    How good are you?

Even the 8-ball isn't actually 8-ball... I think in real 8-ball you have to call your shots...

    Chalk & Cue Goes Under....

I know Sherry quite well. She actually played in some of my Great White North tournaments and is a strong pool player (although snooker is her favourite game). A great ambassador for the sport and a heck of a nice person as well.

    Chalk & Cue Goes Under....

I was very upset to see that Sherry Richardson's Canadian pool and snooker magazine (Chalk & Cue) has printed its last issue. Apparently advertising from the pool community is in short supply and they can't afford to continue. It was obvious from the last issue that they had little or no...

    Simonis 860 on a 7' table?

Yep. 860 is a good cloth for a bar-table. I personally prefer Granito Basalt which we have on several local tables (and my 8' home table) and it's my feeling that it wears better as well. But the two are comparable - speed wise and playability anyway.
