Wow. The guy finishes 1st and 2nd in back to back tournaments and people want to chime about a possibly dump. I just want to say what a great week he had. Good shooting and keep it up.

There is also the action room located at the convention center where the bar tables are. Something like 9+ for action. Pretty good atmosphere this evening but only expecting it to get better. There are casino shuttle buses running back and forth between the main tournaments and the convention...

There were still 154 players at least in the banks. Seeing a lot people showing up throughout the day that didn't get in the banks tourney. The open tourneys are at the casino and the amateur events are across the property in the convention center.

I didn't stop in PC but there was a place in Fort Walton Beach when I was in Florida a few months ago. Just north of the strip. 9 footers in the back but didn't find anyone to play.

I know that the casinos really help the pool players stay broke. All the Detroit casinos are within 20 minutes from all the poolhalls. Tough to find suckers when the casinos break all of them. Without the suckers the poolplayers can't even play each other around here.

Different owners now. We make due with what we have now. Still get strong players but nothing like the years you referred to. Finishing in the top 4 was an accomplishment back then. Tough tournament for not a lot of money. Still fun though.

Tournament is still going strong even in the heat of summer. Had 26, 22, 24, 25 players in the past 4 weekly tournaments.
