im buying a viking cue from billiardwarehouse (because of the custom order form) and had a questions about the shaft... im 6'3 so a 58" cue is too small and on a standard sized cue i grip far back on the cue as most tall players do. so if i get a 31" shaft making it a 60 " cue will i grip...

gloves are kind of goofy...but whatever works for them. i just keep my shaft condtioned.

right. i would also use center ball because using that much english over that much distance would be hard to judge with the throw. center ball you wouldnt have to worry about that much throw.

i dont see the point in buying expensive cases, i have a j&j 2x2 case that i have had for almost 2 years and i dont plan on ever replacing it. very nice case for the price btw. i say keep the case and turn that money into table time.

also means better quailty, when you use a j/b you combine specs of both and they perform okay but not as good as if you used different cues, i use seperate cues because i like my break cue in two parts not 3 its more solid that way. i would break with a one piece cue if i could.
