Thank you for your thoughts! I had someone ask that 'a cue that old??' and I answered that a cue that is decades old and straight has proven to be stable and reliable and the chances are minimal that anything bad happens to it. Still... I am not 100% convinced so please keep your opinions...

The problem may be that people have no idea what they are missing with an ivory jointed Capone - I did have one and it was the sweetest hitting cue I have ever hit a ball with. With this cue, the two shafts and the case you have the p.e.r.f.e.c.t. setup to just grab, go straight into the pool...

I own one of these and Mark Kulungian has been an expert advisor (I hope this is the correct term in English) for this book and he voices his opinion and advices regularly in this volume. I recommend this book, especially for those just getting into buying pool cues.
