A great cue maker is gone.

This is horrible, shocking news, it is terrible hearing it. My sincere condolences go out to the Reyes family and all his friends.

    Goods lost in the mail

Here is a situation that happened with me and another seller of AZB. I ordered 10 Moori tips from MATTY and after 4 weeks they weren't here. I went to the post office with the package's number, the sender's name and address where it came from: no, they knew nothing about it, never heard of it...

    WTB Capone, Josey

I don't remember seeing any signed Capone cues, definitely not between the points - I like the engraved pin idea but that signature looks very cool! Also, here is another Capone Jamie has up for grabs. Many have been drooling on this one, take a look...

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

Jim: those make a superb pair, very nice! I like the long butterfly splices and how nicely the colours match each other. Kevin, Thank you for your suggestion! :) This is something that is on the very top of my list - actually, it is so high that I can't even see this line from the clouds...

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

I like the old Mali and the palmeresque tribute, thank you for sharing! Troy, I think I have seen your Hoppe JW, it is a wonderful piece for sure. If you have a few available pictures, please share them here. Thank you all for posting! David

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

Walker, that is exactly what I was looking for!!! Also, it is great help for drawing cues as due to your measurements now I know the exact attributes and I don't have to use different geometric tools to get them off of Blue Book pictures! Thank you a lot!!!

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

JV: thanks for the info. Scott: you hit the nail on the head with your assumption! :D Sorry about that, I was a bit late when I was typing but wanted to finish it and so the name 'Steve' could have gained occurance - I must have had that name on my mind from somewhere else, I guess:confused...

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

JV: that is pretty much what my answer was to a friend who asked about playing with an old cue: that those cues stood the only test that cannot be urged: the test of time. You may have a super sharp and clean cue today but you really can't tell what it will look like decades later. I'd like to...

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

Thank you so much for your opinion! Dozens of today's cue makers have my greatest respect, but for some reason I myself prefer the older ones 'mentally' (or how should I say it), and that is why I would love to try one of these. I like the older constructions and designs and trimmings as well as...

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

Thank you for your thoughts! I had someone ask that 'a cue that old??' and I answered that a cue that is decades old and straight has proven to be stable and reliable and the chances are minimal that anything bad happens to it. Still... I am not 100% convinced so please keep your opinions...

Would you play with a 30-40 years old cue?

I am a bit confused as I have never had the chance of playing with a cue that old and I would like to know what your experiences and thoughts are on this. I am a true fan of the old, player's style cues - four ebony points into BEM or straight grain maple - and would love to give one a shot but...

    Someone Buy this Capone!

The problem may be that people have no idea what they are missing with an ivory jointed Capone - I did have one and it was the sweetest hitting cue I have ever hit a ball with. With this cue, the two shafts and the case you have the p.e.r.f.e.c.t. setup to just grab, go straight into the pool...

Easter Day Only F/S Book "The POOL CUE" Buying Guide, by Stephen Mayhew

I own one of these and Mark Kulungian has been an expert advisor (I hope this is the correct term in English) for this book and he voices his opinion and advices regularly in this volume. I recommend this book, especially for those just getting into buying pool cues.

    Custom Doug Bourque

I'd recommend you updating your first post in this thread with your photos and your price so that everyone can see immediately what is available here. Good luck with your sale, I like this cue.

Very early origional Bill Stroud made Joss

To me, none of these appear to be one of John Davis' blanks. Can the cue's weight be modified - lightened, naturally. Thanks, David P.S.: I have sent you a Private message. You may see it by going to the TOP RIGHT corner of the page. In case you cannot find it, let me know. Thank you.

Beware of AZ seller User: kyelin

Okay, we have bashed everyone in here, all the members from Singapoure (of course some members clever enough tried to ease that), Eric Crisp and his work and a seller who's been here since '06 - the last thing doesn't matter that much to me other than that I feel awfully sorry for chimmy to have...

    Looking for Gus Szamboti picture

I would but that is of too low quality unfortunately. BUMP, I still hope that this forum is big enough to have someone who possesses one or two pictures of Gus himself.

    Custom Cases

I guess 'Im in the market for a nice custom cue case' is what I have misunderstood here and you are right :) Sorry about that - I thought he was looking for case offers not for pics of them and thought his search would be more efficient in the F/S section but now I got the picture. Thanks...

I don't know if you have noticed, but apparently this is the wrong section for your inquiry.
