I approve! The Petes built me 2 Balabushka clones delivered in 2013 also using bushka parts. I love mine, and yours is even nicer than ones I had built.

Absolutely a perfect example of Balabushka, a monster in my mind.

I would not refinish the cue. I own one of these, as a conversation piece. That is what they are best for, not really a decent cue to play with. Worth $50 at best. A refinish will cost more than the cue is worth, and more than the cue will be worth even if re-finished.

I would like to see the butt of the cue and to know the specs please.

Although the maple points and a few other details are not typical Balabushka, there are enough things about that cue that it would be well worth Tascarella to look at it. Even if real its probably not worth $35K in todays market. I would bet it is real.
