Derby City Classic - What ball set to be used?

Hard enough to get a tight rack. Our club has them on all the tables. They do flex quite a bit compared to the wood ones.

Derby City Classic - What ball set to be used?

Sorry my experience is much different. The plastic ones flex when trying to get a tight rack. The original Diamond wood triangles did not.

    My very special case

OMG I absolutely HATE the Green Bay Fudgepackers but with that said, to each their own and it really is a nice case! Maybe they could do one for my COWBOYS! Still, all jokes aside, JB makes a great case and the protection of a cue is a top priority for them.

    IRISH LINEN

I use a touch of Woolite diluted with water on a damp cloth if they are real dirty. Damp, not wet. For touch up I use a magic eraser. I take my time and work top down or bottom up. Works for me. Then I use an old piece of leather or freezer paper to seal it back up. If they are flat filthy...

Derby City Classic - What ball set to be used?

And I am sure it will be the cheapest thing they can find just like those garbage plastic racks they think so highly of. You would think with as much as they charge for a table they could spend a buck and make a decent one.

    Cue Case Components

I believe you can buy interiors from JB cases like you find on the rugged cases. May not be as stiff as you are looking for though.

Do you like your Cues with or with out fancy Rings?

The most I like is simple stitch or at most dash/dot. Keep It Simple Stupid.

    Anniversary, GC or Diamond?

I own a diamond and absolutely love it but I would have honestly bought a GC 2 or 3 if I could have found one when I was looking.

    Shane's draw break

Subjective rule? WTF is that? It's either a rule or it isn't.

    OB Cues

I, for one, like to see an American company try to support pool. Good for them. Heaven forbid they try to change their products and try something new. The same comments were made when companies first went to carbon fiber and we see how that turned out. It's not surprising that pool has a hard...

    Music while playing

When I am practicing by myself I turn on smooth jazz. At the club I usually turn on Bob Seger radio on iheart radio or maybe some blues. But if I am really into the game I honestly pay little attention to the TV or radio. That's where I hope to be most of the time.

Does it get boring playing the same people over and over?

Thats one of the big reasons why I quit league play. Each week I knew who I was playing based upon which team we were up against. I knew it was a handicap thing but it got boring in 8 or 9 ball against the same people.

    MIKE BENDER WHERE'S MY CUES?????

You know threads like this are exactly why people are leaving the custom makers and just settling for production cues from some mass warehouse in China. I know there will always be a few who will still hold out hope that there is good to be had from a custom maker but these guys really taint...

    Some old Schons!

That rosewood R6 is special. I have a soft spot for the lower end R series cues and have a few myself.

Shane Van Signs deal with RASSON??!!!!

Diamond chose to sign Fedor recently. I sure they could have signed SVB instead.

    For sale section

I find it funny when the same cue has been for sale for months at the same price with thousands of views. Man, if it didnt sell at your asking price, either lower the price or pull the cue, its that simple.

To glove or not to glove

I like the glove but know plenty of people that use CF and don’t wear one. They can still get sticky and gritty depending on where you shoot and how clean the cloth is kept. I buy some cheap ones off amazon, like 15$ for 6 and have no problems.

How fast can you run out on a valley bar box?

Whenever I see a Valley bar box I run out the door. I hate them things.
