Seems trendy - Let's raffle a table! 9' Diamond Professional!

That made me grin. Now....if I only had the space for a 9' table in my studio apartment....

sick 3 rail draw from O'Sullivan

I think that's what amazes me about the guy the most. A lot of the top pros can switch hands for a shot or two, and play pretty well. Ronnie will run racks alternating on every shot and never misses a beat. Amazing physical talent he has....

    Customize a Schon?

I figured that. I like the Schon hit, so that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

    Customize a Schon?

Thanks everyone for the replies. The more info I can get the better. I tried contacting Schon, but I hadn't gotten a reply, so I figured I could get an answer here...and what do you know? :) Troy, that sounds great! I'll send you a PM in a minute. Rocket345...That STL-1 is a nice looking...

What is the Largest Poolroom in America?

They've got 41 total. 4 billiard tables, 1 snooker table, and the rest are 9 foot gold crowns. 110 tables. Good lord! I'd love to live in a time and place where a place could regularly fill 110 tables. Maybe one day :)

    Chicago area cue "shopping"

Thanks everyone for the replies! Yeah, I don't need to chalk it to feel the difference in hit. Obviously you'll never get the exact feel of a cue until you play with it for a while, but you also can't tell much by just looking at it either. I might have been unclear in my first post when I...

    Chicago area cue "shopping"

Thanks for the reply. I did check them out about a month ago. It's a beautiful pool room, but if I'm being completely honest, I was sort of disappointed with the cue selection. They have a bunch of cues, but I'd say more than half were low end, starter cues when I was there. The rest seemed...

    Chicago area cue "shopping"

I'm looking for a little help from anyone who's familiar with the Chicago pool scene-specifically, place that sell cues. I want to buy a new cue, but I'm having trouble finding a place, or even a couple of places where I can compare some of the best known production cues on the market. I'm...
