    Observations: Earl Strickland

Hm.... wondering a bit about the sense of this thread-- far too many aspects have influence that also a player like Earl doesn t win that much tournaments as he did *earlier*. But imo he s still playing amazing- he still has so much heart. And furthermore he s still playing on a f....ng high...

General info about Ekkes/Release for "Samba"

Hi everyone, have had contact with several guys who asked me if i have a clue about Ekkes. I had a short talk with him today to ask "how its going" with him. Ekkes is still struggling a bit with his health and still having a hard time ( will not get into details about it here). So that means...

    Bridge Hand

From my expirience i agree here with Dave- Imo it s also easier -and it feels much more comfortable with sliding into the *final position*.- I cannot name many players who are "point landing" with their bridge-hand- but ofc there some doing this. Think this is something which has to become...

Special Thank a Billiards/Pool Instructor Thread: Who helped you the most?

Nice thread :) Several have had influence on me-- for sure. For very very sure i can name a hand full, which finally brought me to the point, to teach more and more- giving me somehow "a push" in a hard time i had at a time, where i was forced to stay 7 months at home. And in this time Randy...

whats wrong with contact point 2 contact point???

Well said! Every human has a different ability to learn- which way it works better for him. Same counts for aiming systems- Some have amazing visualisation skills- these guys can work wonderful for example with ghost-ball. So many pro s and contra s for so many aiming systems-- an open mind...

question for stan regarding "feel" for CTE

I ve heard rumours that some humans sometimes make *physical* errors.....or are not in top mental condition.....but maybe that s just a rumour about humans. Maybe "ghostball-user" or "arrow-user"don t have *human-deficites". Maybe you could also offer Stevie a lesson for his fundamentals and...

    Mind of Steel

Be here- right now! In the present Rick pointed out some good things- The words about V. Lombardi are very true. Everyone is individual- and here is the key. Everyone has to learn it for himself and here "knowledged" humans can help. To help the player to work out a pre-shot-routine (or...

if you want to develop a straight stroke DONT use an ld shaft

TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP :-) working something out- and finding yourself a solution is the key. This is PURE expirience- and therefrom comes true knowledge. Love your posting Fran- hope you re doing great :-)

if you want to develop a straight stroke DONT use an ld shaft

Nailed it :-) LD is no holy gral- and of course no bad thing at all. But how you said- too many think they can "cover" their bad technique with a low-deflection shaft :-).

So Simple, Free, therefore must not useful

Imo "they" now reached a point, where they re close to start to discuss "what was first.......egg or the chicken" ... Don t let you frustrate too much with opinions or provokes from ppl who just want to tear you down. Too much energy will get lost (your own) if oyu re trying to get over this or...
