Rear Foot Angle-Snooker Pro vs 9' Pro

For me pivoting just my foot does nothing but add a little tension to the knee...........now if I let my hips move slightly with the foot movement...I don't get that knee tension.....but other than that does nothing but want to change the direction my cue points. Starting position of the feet...

Rear Foot Angle-Snooker Pro vs 9' Pro

If I stand in the middle of the table...parallel to the end rail...feet pointing straight to the opposite end rail and let the cue hang balanced in a relaxed grip hand/arm.....the cue does not point straight to the opposite end rail unless I force hold it that way........relaxed and natural the...

Your 1st Cue, 30 Years Later

The first cue I bought was an off the wall Adams and one of those red single cue cases from a Pool Supply place.....The place sold Chlorine, pool pumps, equipment supplies etc.....but also sold Pool tables, Pool Cues and accessories.........All purpose pool supply place. I kept it behind the...

Rear Foot Angle-Snooker Pro vs 9' Pro

Most likely the parallel back foot is due to the more open stance of snooker players....The kicked outward foot promotes a more closed stance. What I have found from standing relaxed upright normally and letting my grip hand/arm hang relaxed naturally by my side and then bringing the grip end...

    Fractional aiming and required accuracy

Wow.........With all due respect and this is just one guys worthless opinion.......That it not a good look for you..........Hack instructors yes.....but.....I can't think of any top professional instructors that would make such a comment about methods that don't fit their personal methods.

    Using More Centerball

Staying on vertical axis is akin to playing by shooting only to the corner pockets and never the sides........If you only shoot to only the corners you are limiting your potential..........You can "plan" and play to the corner pockets...but if necessary.....you must be able to shoot them in the...

    Using More Centerball

What exactly is the definition of center vertical axis and how wide is it???? I would venture a guess that 80+% of us can't hit exactly what center axis is.....or at least not nearly as often as we think we do.....

    Bridge Hand Aiming

Not sure what you are getting at with non-dominant hand......(bridge hand???).......So for me my dominant hand is more my right hand...the one I throw a ball with......my left hand though is my grip hand since I shoot pool left handed and am left eye dominant......but I play Golf right...

    Bridge Hand Aiming

I probably would not have replied.......but So my original response in this thread was to the OP's post.....In one of my later responses I did make a comment in reference to post #5 that suggests the V formed is a handy aiming device.......The OP Title and original post made no mention of using...

In bar table eight ball, do you deliberately miss shots?

Semantics....but Yes it is..... There is intent and also perceived intent......It is that perceived intent that is important in some bars. The wording can be spin doctored any which way you want.......but my "perception" is you get the jist of it...;)

In bar table eight ball, do you deliberately miss shots?

Depends on the bar/rules you are playing by....In some bars they don't like it when you play safe and very much discourage anyone who does........In that case missing on purpose IS a strategy....The key however is to be able to miss on purpose without it looking like you missed on purpose. Any...

    Bridge Hand Aiming

Kind of my point though........One would assume then after bridge hand placement......one then needs to then use the inch of shaft to "verify" the cue is straight on the shot line.... It is widely regarded in shooting that a longer barrel is much more accurate and easy to aim than a shorter...

    Bridge Hand Aiming

Another problem with bridge hand aiming is even if you are diligent at getting the bridge hand (including reference to any specific part or formation therof)....that does not guarantee the grip hand or cue is straight on the shot line.... A PSR that drops a straight cue on a straight shot line...

    WWYD 9 Ball Mar 31

The "key" to this rack is position from the second stun/draw off the 1 (after making the 2 and leaving the 1 in the jaws).....You can't be stuck to the rail...otherwise the scratch in the corner comes into play if you happen to fall short and are around the side pocket
