    Ronnie O'sullivan green stuff "chalk"

I do the same. Pyro at home and noticed no blueing on my bridge hand like I get with all other chalks. My only miscues are stroke related, like being too lazy to grab my bridge on a long shot or trying to do too much with the CB. Triangle is good chalk and I do think the green is better but...

    Pechauer break or black ice?

I picked up a used Black Ice shaft in radial pin that I use on one of my butts. I really like it and sold off my bk3. That shaft makes for a great break. Mine has a Samsara or similar tip, which I also prefer over phenolic. Since this wasn't new, I don't know if this was stock. I am glad I...

    Pocket reducer spacers

I think he’s looking for a better system. I’ve seen them on kozoom in the past. I’d want those too. I have those spring things and they drastically reduce to the point of absurdity. I would be happy with 3.75” pockets but want them to play right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mezz united vs standard 5/16x14?

My mileage differs. My ex pro shaft does feel snugger towards the end but it was more secure feeling than anything else. It was more like the pin was doing the joining whereas the pilot does that job on a lot of 5/16-14 cues. If I had a choice to buy a shaft, in either joint, with minimal...

What are you playing with today?

Barnhart Hoppe with Jacoby Black shaft, most of the time. Leon Sly with a Black Boar ferruleless shaft is my other player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Want to buy soft case for the first time

The pros are they are light, usually. Cons are needing to have a flat surface to get your cues out. I have seen Billy Thorpe and SVB using them though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Molinari cue case

Does anyone have feedback Molinari butterfly cases? I’m debating between the hybrid soft case and the flat butterfly case. The flat case looks like it holds a lot of gear besides cues/shafts, but is it as large as it looks? For either of them, is the coverage full for the shafts? I saw a photo...

    3 Seconds Cue Case

According to their website, google translated to English, and then converting yen to dollars, about $300. It looks like they make a 3x4 butterfly and a 3x5 top loader. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The story behind the Jackot cues

I own a Sly but did not post anything on those threads. I just said to myself , “Good thing I like mine. I won’t be able to sell it for a while.” Remember, rob someone and you are charged with a crime against the State, not the victim. In this case, the crime was against the AZB community...

The story behind the Jackot cues

No doubt. Buyers always vanish just as the sale gets close. Par for the course. My point was trying to use inside info that I couldn’t verify, nor accept as I didn’t pay a dealer price. At least he wasted less of my time than your guy. That cue is gone and saw it posted for more a week...

The story behind the Jackot cues

One time he was looking for a Schon Merry Widow. I had a grey stained one at the time. I had a fair price. He tells me that dealers get them for far less than my price. Become a dealer, get one from Schon then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The story behind the Jackot cues

I know. I bailed on this as soon as I smelled smoke. I was originally attracted to the idea of this really good shaft wood but saw a description of the first batch and realized I was being had.

The story behind the Jackot cues

Not defending BUT a real comparison would be to choose an ebony cue. I had looked at getting an ebony cue from Schmelke and it quickly went up to over $300. They charge much more for ebony than rosewood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The story behind the Jackot cues

I also buy cues to shoot. Considering the number of cues I’ve bought and later sold to try another, you could say I lease them. Resale value is why postage has been the only real expense for me. I backed out on the “Zorro” group when the controversy first started due to potential of no...

ZAN Pool Cue Tips Inquiry! Taking the "Cloak of Mystery" off of the ZAN cue tips!

And I saw a tease of a new premium zan called “BOOST” coming soon. Any info would be appreciated. There was a thread by ChrisInNC (sp?) who tried the three premium tips. I don’t recall him updating his thoughts but initially, he didn’t see much difference among them. I’ve only tried the...

Options for Predator carbon fiber shafts $$$

I think Revo is considered by consensus the lowest deflection but at the cost of feel. I personally love Jacoby's taper so the Black is my choice. Cuetec also has a longer taper. Now that Revo has a white vault plate, the other complaint, regarding sighting, is also addressed. A new version...

    Pechauer Rogue

If you are hoping for a pro taper, small tip, your choice is the 12.0 Becue. I have one and a Jacoby Black. Even though the Black has a slightly larger tip, 12.3mm, the long taper makes it play like a much thinner shaft. Through your bridge, the Becue feels quite a bit thicker.
