It is the pilot being too large. I have a Jensen and a Sly that have large pilots, measuring.500" or larger. Your shaft would fit in either of mine without a problem. It also would likely fit on a Schon. If you wanted to use it on your Joss, you would need that pilot sanded down. Sent from my...
