    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

I actually felt this match was even further apart than what the score indicated.

    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

I agree with him and you both though, it'll be those three battling it out for one pocket king over the next ten years and I believe Dennis will come out on top in the end. We will see if Thorpe can keep up with him.

Are they really playing for $200K ?

Thanks. I was mystified by the visual. Thanks for all your work the stream is pretty much the highlight of my pool watching for the last ten years at least.

Are they really playing for $200K ?

Why are there like four people watching the match onsite. Is it approved spectators only? I'm not questioning the bet but the crowd, or lack thereof, really throws me off like something's not adding up here.

Playing like what? I just wanna say something, the way you play in a race to 40 one pocket against top competition IS the way you play. It's the very definition of the way you play. The way you practice isn't the way you play, the way you play in a 50 dollar entry tournament on your local tables...

Are they really playing for $200K ?

It's all fine and dandy to make it sound better than it really is I suppose, until a tax man comes knocking. It seems they're playing for 100k to me if each is putting up 100. I don't get that.

Dennis ran a seven from an uptable game where Scott was developing a position. You look at the table and think two or three tops and he got seven. It's seriously unreal how he's running balls for this much cash. Even in practice some of these runs are just so pure.

    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

It's interesting because normally I feel this is one of the strongest parts of his game. Get an obvious (yet not a hanger) shot, get up and shoot it before you can even start thinking about missing it. I like that mentality but I think in this case he maybe wanted to make it so bad he took that...

    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

Did you guys notice though that when Scott got that really important, and very makeable shot to win a game, he took a break then got back up there and dogged it. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, and I do think he had made a mistake just before that, but to me it really says something when an...

    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

I think in the end they are both going to have their fair share of luck, but I think Scott's pretty lucky the session ended there. I mean how do you deal with competing with a guy getting out from there, after the shot you just laid down?

Eight and out from there looks like something tough in dream world. I mean that was just sick.

My god how was that for an out. Seriously moving doesn't even matter if Dennis continues stuff like that. Wow.

    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

Did frost just luck a ball in to win that last game? Missed that. He shot a kiss shot I think...?

He also creates more bad rolls for himself I think. Sometimes he gets in such bad head space I almost think he's looking for a bad roll as an escape mechanism or something.

    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

So interesting, they've both dominated different parts of the set. It'll be interesting to see who adjusts better to the other's game tomorrow after a night of thought. Stuff like this is really what pool is meant to be as far as I'm concerned. I'll take this over all the best tournament races...

    Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

I didn't see it but it but there's no doubt that's strong. Five zip outta the gate to an orcollo is some serious biz. You gotta be a champ and wantin it bad to play some pool like that against a player like orcollo.

Efren pointing to where CB was supposed to be

Every time he does that, he's telling his opponent this is where I woulda got if this match was worth more.
