Posting about 1 foot on the floor on FB

It appears in Cotton's "The Compleat Gamester" from 1674. So far as I know, it has been in every written set of rules since. No table owner wanted the clients/guests climbing on it.

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

Cue ball center towards the contact point hits the object ball twice as full as needed. I hope this is obvious to all.

Fedor has only 8000 points on the one-year ranking list towards Mosconi Cup qualification.

On Table 4, there is a Vietnamese player and they have Vietnamese commentators. I think that's a nice addition since there are normally commentators only on the main table.

World Cup: Mon., May 18 - Sun., May 24, 2026: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: Link to Time Table, Live Matches and Results

It looks like it's also possible to have the path: short rail, ball 2, long rail, ball 3. I think in fact the shot was good, but there is that other possibility that the ref has to be prepared for.

For those of you on wnttv.com for the streams, are today's streams available anywhere? Usually they are available within an hour. All I can find for the UK Open is 2025.

    Mosconi Cup 2026 tickets

There are still tickets left for all four days. The link just above still works. The US side (RED) is a lot fuller, so you may have to sit on the BLUE side. Strangely, the final day, when the US will complete its amazing comeback and win hill-hill, still has lots of tickets.

A note about reserving at the Embassy Suites... On the Matchroom event page for the Open, when you click through for the hotel, the hotel suggests that you sign up for "Hilton Honors" membership. It looks like that saves you a total of $50/night.

It seems that there is no direct flight from New Orleans to London, so he was looking at 12 hours on planes, and could have arrived in London at 7AM or so to play at 7PM.

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

And I think at least thousands of balls are needed for understanding or getting a feel for bank shots, but it also helps to know what the balls are doing and what changes the lines -- cloth, rails, speed, spin, cut angle, .... For some people, it helps to experiment with banks on the practice...

    BUFFALO'S PRO CLASSIC 2026

I think that one thing that makes it better in this case is that we knew who had half of Evan. Fedor did not hide that. I think any time the Calcutta is as big as or larger than the regular prize fund, problems -- or at least suspicions -- will occur. I wonder if Fedor had all of Fedor.

We need more nature stuff around here. Did you know "When threatened, horned lizards shoot blood from their eyes as a defense mechanism"? Amazing. Here's how that works:

    8 Men still in Buffalo's 1 Pocket 2026

That's true if the tournament has a schedule. Players expect to leave Monday morning. There are fixes, and I think the TD has to be ready when a match goes beyond a tolerable length to implement one of those fixes. Seven hours is a long match, but there was a match at DCC that went seven and a...

That, there is worrisome. As long as you keep paying for my social security, I think I'll be OK, though. A previous bubble that seems similar was: In March 2000, Cisco Systems became the world's most valuable company with a market cap of over $550 billion. Acting as the vital internet...
