mcmanus has the greenkeeper willie variety of scottish accent. brilliant pundit, loves the game passionately, knows every technical aspect of the game and can verbalize / analyze it.
siming chen isn't reclusive, she plays heyball and probably duya. don't know how financially rewarding it's been, but will for sure have had less expenses.
i hope her successor in american pool is muyan zhang. wild shooter, fun to watch.
the glaswegian accent varieties (higgins, mcmanus) are tougher than edinburgh accent (hendry). i understand higgins well enough, but i once had a man from aberdeenshire call to my work and he spoke sheep
Stephen Maguire – 21 points
Matthew Stevens – 22 points
might as well say "pints" in their case. if they had treated it like a sport and not pissed away their careers in hotel bars they probably would've won the WC. no hate, i liked both in their prime.
ding i guess became too rich at a young...
yea, promising. and, many of the greats lost their crucible debut match - ronnie, jimmy, trump, hendry, davis.. not that antony's lost yet. williams isn't playing good by any measure, but he will probably eke out a win
i never bet ronnie. never know what ronnie is gonna turn up. would enjoy if he won it ofc.
brecel, zhao were fun winners too. looks to me that a top half winner will likely be a flair player, and a winner from bottom half likely more of a grinder
gossip gathered from the usual suspects in the snooker punditry: trump may be affected by home issues, neil robertson and mark williams are out of stroke. most of them say zhao and trump final.
i went with shaun murphy finalist and selby finalist.
