i believe jayson has won the DCC banks ring game. he's a great banker. justin hall is imo slightly better than bergman, i think in a long race he would be favorite, but it's tight. i'm happy to see bergman advance. i still think he's an outside tip for the 8-ball, even with a tough draw

yes, he's had some issues from what i've heard and is making a comeback. but 8-ball and 14.1 are his best games

yea, that will be interesting. the gaffy rack (and break from the side tactic that follows) may suit him well. ruslan is another one in the outside lane to watch out for. brilliant pattern player.

250k isn't peanuts either. but with endorsements very little compares to china because of its size. ding junhui is probably the richest cueist of all time, despite never having won the world snooker (won everything else, but that's beside the point). sponsorships and endorsements rakes in a lot...

tight pockets available for me is 4.25" ish, and yes i think it's better than the other (and closer) option i have which is GCs with 5" pockets. those 5" buckets take away banking options close to opponents pockets, make takeouts difficult, both of which i feel should be part of the game. but...

Pro Pocket Size TOO Small for 9 Ball

that theory is obviously not true, since the performance stats have gone up.. they have kept up with the level of competition, and imo their generation is/was grittier. those three got toughened up at the wrong time, to paraphrase charles bukowski. but it's also part chance that their eyes...

50% BNR rate for xiaohuai, and 63% runouts. no matter how you set it up, it's still 8-ball..

i guess. for most of them it's a domestic affair, which makes the prize money structure more palatable than if you travel there from australia or germany. but still it's a wild first prize relative to the other single elim payouts
