    Advice on selling ivory-inlayed cue.

I understand the position. I just don't want to get involved because the ones with the guns and badges won't give a flying shit if you are innocent. It's the mirror of eco-terrorism. If they can get you, they will, laws and regulations be damned. I have said it many times, don't trust LEO.

Photo taking technique... A how to guide

Thanks so much. Years ago I had some conversations with Dick Abbott that motivated me to eventually do better. For example, this is his picture of a documented Ebony Titlist converted Ricco Cervantes when he was at Gandy that I now own. Pictures like this motivate me. I want to do some...

Photo taking technique... A how to guide

Anybody interested in talking more about this? I am still using my cell phone but am planning on getting a DSLR. As I organize my collection and do an inventory, I am planning on getting some cues restored, so I would like to take good before and after pics for my archive. I'll throw an old...

    Abe Rich Titilst Conversion

Sierra Apache, the one with the 14 pin. Joss shafts fit perfectly. It's actually a nicely finished cue. They were like $425 originally, then a number of years ago they were on clearance for like $180.

    History of Rich Cues

Digging through cues I have come across a few Rich cue et al. I thought this Rich Q should be posted here. I estimate 1973. Needs a new tenon and ferrule, wrap needs cleaned up, but otherwise cue is in remarkable condition. I have a stack of these Palmer cases. Some have Palmers in them...

I've been digging through cases again. I am still looking for my other cobra, the other one has linen, and darker butt sleeve wood. I figured you might like to see these since you have two of the Cobra version. Left to right: 1. Cobra Side Winder, only one here with synthetic wrap 2. Slyfoxx...

    Scam Web Site?

No worries. I wouldn't have posted it if it was a risk. I checked it out. I know it's a scam. This one must be new. Nothing on the web about it and even the usual sources don't ID it as a scam site.

I ran across this site. Check out the prices, insanely low. I was searching for info on a cue that sells in the $700 range, and they have it listed for $148. https://www.procuegear.com/ The address is a house in Texas.

    Advice on selling ivory-inlayed cue.

Ah. I see. I was mistaken. I thought that was throughout the show. So, just the entries. Traveling with those cues could be risky. If the feds wanted to, they could just show up and watch/follow anybody at ICCS. Am I paranoid? No. Personally I am just cautious. I just turned down a...

    Finish Damage Question

I have seen this happen to Dufferin cues before, just never owned one that had the issue. I always just figured it was a problem with the cue finish they used, and how the cue was stored in general. But when I got this cue/case it gave me pause. Call Schmelke? I had not even thought to ask...

    Advice on selling ivory-inlayed cue.

If you are really interested I guess you could look at the actual legal documentation. Even file a FOIA request. The whole mess seemed convoluted to me at the time, and as you I only saw the news articles. I really didn't look at specific dates relative to the bans etc. It all just made me...
