I think you’re looking for problems that don’t exist….I could come up with a lot of world titles that belong to not just pool players but also 6x12 players who are or were shorter than you….some substantially. Just get a short extension and you’ll have most bases covered.

My first tournament when I came out of hiding had a ballroom floor…slippery as hell. I ordered a coke and started dripping it on the floor by my chair and rubbing my shoes in it. I thought I was pretty sneaky about it, but by the second round, a lot were doing it.

I never got a look at you on the stream, Stu….so I’m happy to be reading this. I too agree that something has to be done….this tournament should end with a grand finale, not like some local tournament where almost everyone has gone home and often they don’t even play the finals.

I don’t know what speed you play you play….but Blomdahl has beaten Efren in a 9-ball exhibition match…and he has run some 100s at snooker.

Lot of materials seem like a good idea but they will become damp if not used for a few hours…slate is porous, the moisture goes into the slate, leaving the playing surface relatively dry. And it comes in layers, making it more cohesive than many materials.

I’ve played on a few granite slates.couldn’t tell any difference in playability….but granite tends to chip much more than slate.

I agree with everything but the last part. A player should get NO instruction….your actions will have consequences.
