Oh no Wolfy got an LD

I hit some balls with a CF shaft about 5 or so years ago, decided not to pursue it for the same reason - I've been playing too long with old wood shafts and it would take me forever to change. Not worth it IMHO.

The last time I played BCA the highest rated player (675), had approximately 17 BnR's on the session, I had 8 or 9 I think, the next closest was 5, then it trickled down from there. I wish I knew how many games we played but it was 4 or 5 a night but I don't remember how many weeks it was...

Shane Van Boening draw stroke: wrist movement analyzed frame-by-frame

There's been lots of talk about that "hitch"/pause, some people do it naturally and some do it on purpose. When I'm in the zone I have somewhat of a hitch but if I try to do it on purpose it throws off my rhythm. I gave up, lol.

You can change the amount of taxes deducted from your paycheck via the W4. I pay very little taxes on a per-pay basis knowing I will owe at the end of the year. Although I know the rules, it doesn't mean I agree with them ;)

Unless they tell you they don't have a plan, always assume they do. Start using safes to move balls around to break stuff out, screw up a possible run on their next shot, etc. Excellent safety play is a very serious tool in your pool tool box. Practice it just like you practice anything else...

The bonus itself may put you in another income bracket, not the fact you already paid taxes on it. Once that check is handed to you/cashed it is income that is applied to the end of the year.

Here's a very serious piece of advice - stop trying to run out the table. Start shooting percentages. What are the chances of cutting that ball in and getting back to the end of the table for the next one, what are the chances of just tapping that ball and ducking for cover and getting BIH...

You're not focusing then. Get the damn FR out of your head, it's a number, play your game. Focus on the game, every ball, every shot.

I'll add that I had a playing partner back in Omaha for years, he always thought he was better than he was and thought he could keep up with me. Fast forward nearly 20 years, I was out of the game for 14, played hard for about 3 and hit 600'sh. He played league the entire time, he's a 450...

One of two things could be happening. 1) You're not applying yourself as in, you're not putting in REAL practice and you're not focusing during your matches. 2) The numbers are correct.

Please read the bolded text above. Thanks. EDIT: Regarding the $6,500 - yes, it is added to his income at the end of the year, and the tax payment he (you?) made on that check is added to your tax payments at the end of the year.
