I was perusing a local curiosities shop this afternoon and found an older BCE snooker cue. I didn't purchase it but I started to think about it and wondered if I should. Here is what I remember of it. It was a signature cue with a weird long Wooden joint that reminded me of a Carom cue joint...

Where do you cuemakers find your ivory? Piano keys? If so is it usable? I found a piano with all but one ivory key, what is a good price for something like that?

This is for my son who is about 54" tall, would like something that is extendable but not overpriced. I really want to get him his own 2 peice cue that is "cool" for 9 year olds... if you have something please lmk ASAP so I can get it here by x-mas for The Milk Box Kid!
