Anyone ever take a lesson from Tor Lowry?

Considering I never had any formal instruction and was like an APA 5-6. I went to 7 within a year and stated there. I'm 615-620 Fargo now

Anyone ever take a lesson from Tor Lowry?

Tor came to my place daily for a week about 9 years ago. We worked 8-10 hours a day. We drilled over and over...and over...and over. He taught me a lot. My lessons were free and I cannot thank him enough. When he was offering the 14 day pool thing. It was like the first or 2nd year

    Turning Stone Classic XXXVI Underway

It's almost like I am blocked. Kind of strange since I've never said or done anything to him. Don't think I have ever even commented on a stream. Oh well

Removing Cigarette Smoke Smell From Leather Wrap?

You can maybe use a leather cleaner and conditioner. Not sure if it will completely remove the smoke smell but it will for sure smell better. As for cat pee, my wife has used a mixture of baking soda and peroxide. Here are some other ideas...

Any one else go back to cheaper cues ?

I would say that a low end cue is probably fine for lower skilled players. Higher level players and pros that rely on low deflection cues would not be able to play at the same level if you gave them a $99 players cue. The way the cue ball reacts to high amounts of spin and a hard stroke is night...

Most Economical Way To Mail A Stick?

Depends on if you want it insured or not. Standard insurance coverage for Fedex is $100 and that is included with basic shipping. I shipped/insured a $1500 cue and it was about $50 each way. Edit: I shipped it inside a tubular hard case and used a Fedex box that was just big enough

does anyone pay the crazy prices for production cues>???

I'm not usually one for production cues but I shot with a new Lucasi Lux edition last night and was impressed with the feel and play of it. The LD shaft had less squirt than any of the carbons I have tried. I think it had a Kamui med or hard. Not usually a fan of any tips harder than soft but...
