Is this truly a 70s Adam Cue?

Found this for sale. Is it real, do they hit well, what's it worth? One if the great things about this site, so many of you know cues inside and out. Thanks.

    Katana shaft

Any of you guys ever hit one of these. Thinking about buying a used cue and it comes with one of these "ld" shafts. I don't think the original owner cared for it much since there is little chalk stain in the shaft but the original shaft could probably shed an entire cube after cleaning. :)...

    Muecci wood pro shaft

Wtb, Muecci Pro Shaft that fits a standard Muecci butt. Not the bar box pro shaft. Not carbon fiber. No dents, perfectly straight. Don't care if it's chalked stained.

How many of you own a sneaky pete?

And how many of you go out and use that sneaky Pete to try and hide your speed and bet on games? I always thought when I bought my first decent cue years ago that when I get really good, I'll do just that. Get me a sneaky Pete and go take some money. While my game has been sharper, I'm still...

    Mosconi Cup Poll

Seems there's a decent number of people here who are in serious doubt is Team USA can win this year. Let's get everyone on record with a poll. Be honest with yourself and us and predict it and tell why. I'm voting Yes, Team USA will win. They finally won last year and in Europe no less. I...

Anyone play with a newer Dufferin?

Been thinking about getting some decent cues for friends who come over that don't own cues. Saw Dufferins on Budget Billiards for about $60. I used to play with one, hit good. But that one was probably 20 years old wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of it now.

    Break cloth patch

Pretty simple, if you own a table do you have separate small patch of cloth you put the CB on when you break? Finally about to get the table recovered and it crossed my mind. It's gonna get marks anyway. But I do break from the same spot most of the time.

    Bar rules

Do you play by bar rules for 8 ball? At your table, not where you go to a bar and that's how they play. I'm guessing most here don't. What is it about bar rules that makes them not used? What is it about the rules you do play with that makes you use them? I have my answers for why I play...

    $25,000 Brunswick table

Only about an hour from me. Maybe I should go check it out and hit a couple balls on it just so I can say I did. https://grandrapids.craigslist.org/spo/d/holland-antique-brunswick-pool-billiard/6897016637.html

    Why a new cue?

After reading through the lifetime cue thread it got me thinking. Why would I get a new cue? I have two production cues, retail on one was about $225, that's my player. The other I pulled out of hock at the second hand store for a friend, he never paid me for it so its now mine, for $110 I got...

    Mosconi Cup week 2018

How are you all gonna watch this? I have no cable, satellite or any other monthly service I can watch it on. Unless, there's a way my roku can do it? It does say the match will be on FB. Anyone know of a way to throw that to a tv? Anyone want to make predictions now of the beati...er...

    Cloth repair

So league bar table has about a 5/8" cut in it. I'm tempted to take some super glue and wax paper and "fix" it. I've seen this done with little holes in cloth before. Short of replacing the cloth any other ideas?

    Cues you don't play, ever.

Does anyone have cues you don't use? I own a cue I got out of hock for a friend. He never used it and has never tried to buy it back from me. It's been hit, but not played. No chalk dust in shaft, still has the weight sticker on the bottom. I understand I can't sell it as new but it's as close...

What will your cue be worth?

What will your cue be worth in 25 years? I was playing the other day thinking about where the game is and going. About the people making cues today and what I believe to be a dying art. About how my production cue has went up. What's it gonna be like 25 years from now? What was it like 25...
